12 Days of Christmas - Day #1!

Welcome to Day #1 of the 12 Days of Christmas here on the Imaginisce Blog!  We are excited to bring you lots of inspiration and creativity from some of our designers!  Check back every day for a chance to win a fantastic prize, you will be amazed at what we are giving away!

First up today are Renata Moni and Kim Holmes:

Hello, this is Renata and I am going to show you how to create some beautiful Christmas tags!

Supplies
White Cardstock cut at – 3” x 4”   ( 7,5cm x10 cm )
Scraps of patterned papers (Cottage Christmas by  Imaginisce)
Holiday Wishes Chipboard Stickers by Imaginisce
Happy Holiday Sticker Stackers
Season's Greeting Rub-on Words
ribbon
twine

Instructions
Using the white cardstock as your background, all you have to do is decorate the tags using scraps of patterned papers, covering all the cardstock like in the pictures below:




Round corners if you wish

You can distress the paper borders by rolling them with your fingers:



Now that your background is ready,  embellish however you wish.
Use stickers, chipboard accents, twine or ribbon,






Use rub-on words to add a message and your tag is ready!



With this background you can create lots of differents tags! So,  be creative!

Hey everyone!  Kim, here!  I too used my Cottage Christmas Scraps - every last bit of them!  Every year, my youngest son and I decorate a small tree that sits in his room.  It is the highlight of the decorating for him, so I knew we had to come up with some fun new ideas!  Cottage Christmas to the rescue!  Here is the finished product:

The first thing we created was a simple paper chain using the 6 x 6 paper pad which has those wonderful prints but in minature size!

Next up we punched some stars out of the same papers and used a sticky dot to put them back to back on a small wire.  This makes the perfect garland! 

Also using a small wire, we beaded the crystal snowflake embellishments and created even another fun garland!  

These look so cute on the little tree!  My son loves them!  Next up we decorated a tray that we will put all our Christmas Cards in this year --- currently our cute little tree is sitting in it!
