So how are those gingerbread cookies tasting?
Did you get that cup of hot cocoa yet?
I actually made some for my kids yesterday afternoon because it was a rainy & cooler day here. Not cold enough to feel like Christmas yet but definitely made me start to think about it.
We're thrilled that you enjoyed yesterday projects from some of our Design Team members and we're excited to share some more projects over the next few days.
So let's continue with the inspiration!

I absolutely loved working with the Christmas Cheer collection. The cute characters make me so excited for Christmas time! For my projects, I decided to "bling" them out by adding I-Rock jewels and hot rocks to all my projects. In my layout I used them on all the border strips, the ornaments, and the three to add some extra sparkle. I also added I-Rock jewels in red for my cards.
For the wall hanging, I used white hot rocks to embellish the clock, and used more jewels on the tree. The base is a pre-made wood plaque I got from the craft store. I painted it red, mod-podged paper onto the front, and added ribbon, the bell, and all the cute characters using lots of dimensional foam adhesive.

I love the traditional Christmas colors in the new Christmas Cheer collection!
"Christmas Eve" layout

"Happy Holidays" layout
The beautiful patterned papers along with the cute die cuts work perfectly with my photos from 2010 just as well as they do with this old black and white from 1951.

I loved using "Christmas Cheer" to scrap pictures of my kids opening their gifts on Christmas morning. The colors and patterns made the collection really easy to scrap with, and it's a very versatile collection - there are so many directions you can go with it, depending on which colors you pull on. My favorite part had to be the new die-cut collection pack. They've gotten even bigger and fuller, if that's possible - the titles, as well as the images on both layouts came from that package. Whereas before, you had one pack for the titles and one for the shapes, not it's all combined and there's so much to choose from. It was hard to restrain myself from using the flowers and cute reindeer, and Santa, and so on :)
