Everyday Inspiration - Day 4

Welcome back to Day 4 of our Everyday Inspiration!

Another day filled with creative ideas.
Let's take a look at what the Design Team members prepared for us today.

*******

Besides scrapbooking, I love to quilt.
Well, since I've only made one quilt, you can't really say I quilt, but you can say I love to look at quilts. I am mesmerized by all the colors, patterns and designs. I like looking at quilt blogs too, which is where I found the inspiration for my layout.
I love the part chevron/part arrow design.
(http://www.cluckclucksew.com/2012/04/pow-wow.html) This is the website where I found this beautiful quilt. Notice where her inspiration for the quilt came from?? A rubber stamp set!
For my layout, I followed the arrow/chevron design and included some pictures from our mini getaway in Monterey.

I did a little machine stitching to add the arrows to my cardstock, then added the photos and the title.

There are so many places to find inspiration for your layouts. Where have you found ideas for your scrapbooking??

Supplies: Imaginisce (Makin' Waves: Keepin' Cool & Hello Cupcake: Wish Big, Oversized Die-cuts)

My inspiration came from the bike tires. Since we've been helping Nate practice riding his bike without training wheels every day, I can't help but dream about bike tires (lol)!

They were an obvious inspiration for this layout — the circles and the little black bike tires, too.

Supplies: Pattern Paper: Makin' Waves and Hello Cupcake, Die Cut: Hello Cupcake, Clicut pen knife, Silhouette Cameo, black card stock

I used a collage art piece that sits in my bathroom as inspiration. It's a print by Kelly Rae Roberts.
My inspiration were the descriptive strips that were placed across the front of the girl's dress. I took the same concept and used it on this 8x11 layout of my son. I wanted to be able to use several strips and large enough so that each one could be read easily...because of that I went with a 5x7 photo.

Supplies: Imaginisce (Hello Cupcake & Makin' Waves patterned papers, Hello Cupcake Stickers, i-Top Small Brad Daddies, i-Top 2.0 tool)
