Childhood Memories Release Party - Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of our
Childhood Memories
Release Party.

Did you enjoy yesterday's projects?
Well, you're in for a treat! Because we have a whack load more!!!

So let's get started.

*******

"For is Fun"
As soon as I saw Childhood Memories I knew the line would be perfect for all of the little boy photos I have!  I chose to make my first page using photos of my four year old son playing in the tree in our backyard.  This line was perfect for capturing the feeling of fun!

Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Fruit Stripe, Play All Day

Stickers: ABC Alpha Stickers, Just Be Little Icons, Kid's Stuff 5 x 7 Sticker Stacker, Hide & Seek 5 x 12 Chipboard Sticker

"Happy Birthday"
This line is so bright and cheerful, but it is definitely only for Childhood Memories!  I thought it would also be perfect for a birthday card!

Supplies:
Stamp: Camera Snag 'em Stamp
Patterned Paper: Tree House, Snapshots and Wonder

"Tiny Bubbles"

Use circle punches to recreate bubbles  on your layout. Use two different tones of blue, and don't be afraid to layer them for a dimensional effect.

Supplies:  Childhood Memories Collection- Paper:  Day in the Life, Memory lane, Wonder & Play All Day;   Sticker Sheets:  ABC Stickers & Just Be Little; Sticker Stackers: This Moment; Coloured Foam Tape: White
Other Supplies: Circle Punches; Silhouette SD; Sewing Machine

"At the Playground"

Designer Tip:  Use the i-top to create brads that can fit in with your embellishments. I chose to make the brads look like the center of blossoms on a tree.  Also by making tiny snips into a strip of green patterned paper, will create the look of grass on a layout.

(sorry, you missed it ... but we're thrilled for Jodi & her upcoming publication)

Supplies Used:Childhood Memories Collection- Paper:  Memory lane, Care Free, Day in the Life, Hop Scotch, Play All Day, Wonder, Tree House;   Sticker Sheet: ABC Stickers & Just be Little; Sticker Stackers:  This Moment;  Tools:  i-top; paper punch-small; brad daddies-small.;  Colored Foam Tape: White
Other Supplies: Twine by the Twinery; Silhouette SD

"Tiny Bubbles"

I have been hanging onto these photos of my little guy blowing bubbles for the very first time, so when I saw the patterned paper from Childhood Memories, I couldn't wait to create a layout to capture this fun moment. I used vellum circles to simulate some "bubbles" on the page, adding some Hot Rocks with my i-Rock tool. The collection comes with a sheet of fabulous alphabet stickers, which I used to create my floating title. I just know I'll be using this collection for many, many other moments!

"Treehouse" Birthday Card

Next, I wanted to make a birthday card for a friend of mine who is definitely young at heart. I trimmed this darling treehouse from one of the patterned paper sheets, along with the sweet little polaroid photos. For the inside of the card, I added a cute chipboard sticker -- I adore these little banners.

Supply List:
Patterned Paper: Play All Day, Wonder, Treehouse, Snapshots 12 x 12 paper (Imaginisce); Cardstock:  White (American Crafts), Tempting Turquoise (Stampin' Up!); Specialty Paper: Vellum (generic); Accents: Hide & Seek Chipboard Stickers, Hot Rocks (Imaginisce); Stamps: sentiment (Taylored Expressions); Stickers: ABC Sticker Alphas (Imaginisce); Fibers: Twill Ribbon (generic); Tools: i-Rock (Imaginisce)

  26. What a great team you have. These projects are so fun. I love the pop of red throughout the line. I've got some bubbles photos to scrap. My mom gave the kids an automatic bubble blower for Christmas. It's too cold to play outside so we set it up in the kitchen which means bubble dancing (and mopping up soapy floors) almost every day.... lots of fun photos
