Childhood Memories Release Party - Day 3

Welcome back to Day 3 of our Release Party for

We've got another day filled with amazing projects!

*******

Childhood Memories is such an awesome collection.  Having 2 boys we spend a lot of time outside and this collection is just perfect for scrapping all those wonderful memories.  The line is so versatile, fun and fresh.  I can't seem to put it down!

For my first project I made a layout.  I love to layer all my paper and this collection is just so perfect it.  I also like to use my pattern papers and turn them into embellishments.  I cut the clouds and camera out and turned them into embellishments and I also used my I-top with my pattern paper to make custom brads that coordinate perfectly.

stickers: imaginisce (400126)
tools: i-top (small and medium brads), i-rock (hot rocks and glam rocks), silhouette

For my second project I made a quick card using the awesome woodgrain pattern paper and combined it with the wonderful chipboard birdie.

Alphabet stickers:  Imaginisce childhood memories
tools:  i-rock and glam rocks

adhesive:  Imaginisce foam tape

"Just be Carefree"

This new collection Childhood Memories was so much fun to work with.  The bright colors and patterns are perfect to capture those fun play-time moments with your kids.  One of my kids’ favorite things to do is go to the park.  Their uninhibited actions portrayed in the photos inspired me to use the kite, clouds and make pinwheels for the layout.  All things that are fun and carefree, just like kids!
My favorite part of this layout was making the pinwheels.  They are quick and easy to make and very cute.  Cut out or punch a square approx. 1- 1 1/2”.  At each corner, cut a diagonal slit towards the center.  Then fold each section towards the center and glue down to create the pinwheel.  I used the I-top to create the buttons in the center of the pinwheels and then the I-rock for a little bling!

Supplies:
I-top
I-rock
Hot Rocks-Glitter
Hot Rocks-Rhinestuds
ABC Sticker Alphas

"Our Bounce House"

My kids love their bounce house and I love to capture that fun in photos.  They are always so bright and fun, much like the Childhood Memories collection.  What’s fun about this layout?  The circles!  Various sizes all over the page, like bouncing balls out of the ball pit.  I had fun making the pennants out of the Giggles, Play and Carefree stickers from the Just Be Little Icons.  To embellish my circles, I used the balloons and bubble wand from the stickers stackers and the I-rock.

Supplies:
I rock
Circle Punch
Glam Rocks-Mirror
Memory Lane Paper
Wonder (red side also) Paper
Day in the Life Paper

"Boys Rule"

Childhood memories in my family means little boys playing out in the hot summer sun up to son down!  These 3 cousins have the best time when they get together!  I took this photo of them the last time they got together and the Childhood Memories was a perfect collection to create with.  The sticker sheet was my favorite part of this collection, its full of unique pieces like the little Polaroid stickers!  I also used lots of foam tape and dots on this layout, a little dimension goes a long way!

Supplies:  Childhood Memories Paper & Stickers,  Foam Tape, Adhesive

"Baby Shower"

My second project is a little something to celebrate a very early on childhood memory!  I love the cloud boarder strip from the sticker sheet in this collection but I saw something besides just a strait line of clouds.  I cut it a part and used from tape to give it a lift.  Then I used the irock to add the hearts - the irock made these so easy!  Its a simple card but still cute!

Supplies:  Childhood Memories Paper & Stickers, irock, foam tape, adhesive
