Valentine's Inspiration - Day 2


Welcome to another day of inspiration for Valentine's Day.
Today we have a couple of designers sharing home decor & altered project ideas .

Love Birds

 I wanted to make my kids a little mailbox to give them some love notes for Valentine’s Day.  I found a really cute box cut file with a slot on the top and cut it out from the patterned paper.  I added the cute love birds journaling card to the front of the box and the title from the sticker sheet.  For embellishments I thought feathers would be the perfect finishing touch for this project.  To create the cute little Valentines cards I added the letter looking stickers to some patterned paper and added some hearts and arrows to the front.  I can’t wait to deliver this on Valentine’s Day.

Candle Holders
For my second project I made some cute candle holders for our table.  I covered some Ikea glass candle holders with the washi tape then added one of the fun stickers to the front with foam tape.  Add a candle and you have the perfect setting for a romantic dinner.

I Love You

Love You More has to be one of my favorite Imaginisce collections.  I love the pinks, reds and grays together.  So, I had this lonely frame sitting in my closet and I knew I could create something fabulous with it using the Love You More Collection.  I used some pictures of my kids because just like I love my significant other...I love my kids and I wanted to create something special with them being the focus to display on Valentine's Day.

    Fun decor projects! Such beautiful crafting that is a spring board for decorating throughout the house! My favorite has to be the Love Birds mailbox, too bad my kiddos are grown!

    This is fabulous! I love the 'I Love You' banner. The cluster of embellishments on each kids picture is perfect. Does not look to busy and there is no element that gets lost. Everything fits so well together. Great work.
