Valentine's Inspiration - Day 3

What do you like to create for Valentine's Day?  Do you make cards for the ones you love or decorate your home with hearts and other love themed decorations? Do you like creating layouts about the ones you love and the things that you bring you joy?

My Little Valentine

I loved all the colors in this collection, and couldn't wait to scrap my youngest daughters Valentines day picture from last year.  I especially LOVE the Washi Tape! I decided to make a quick border using the washi tape by running it on four sides of my white cardstock! A simple, fast and fun way to create a border on your layout! I also used the buttons in this collection by layering a smaller grey button on top of a pink button.

Hugs and Kisses

The Love You More papers were a perfect match with the pictures I took of my three kiddos last Valentine’s Day with all of the grays, pinks, and reds. Love this color combo! I ran the gray piece of patterned paper through my Silhouette to mimick the XOXO from the sticker sheet and then backed it with other small pieces of patterned paper which made it pop. One more element that I wanted to pop off the page was the alphas which I added some lines with a white paint pen. The white lines behind the photos were created using a bottle of white mist but instead of misting I took the top off and used the intake tube to create the lines.

Other supplies: Bazzill cardstock, Mr. Huey mist, The Twinery twine, Elmers white pen, Silhouette Cameo
