Scrapbooking began strictly as a process to capture my son's firsts when he was born. But then I delved further into the world of creativity through classes, expo trips and more, and it has now become a de-stressor and an outlet for my creative side. What started out as basic skills with stickers and cardstock has grown into bravery with watercolors and metal work. I no longer think of scrapbooking as a "craft" project, but as an art form.

I can't wait to use this on my pages to coordinate embellishments with my paper. I really want to try it as flower centers.

Scrapbooking is my way to get away. I have three children (a 3 year old and 2 year old twins) and this is my way to "escape." I also LOVE recording our families memories and wish I had things like what I create from my childhood. Even if my kids don't want to keep them, I will love looking back on these years.

I would love to put pictures on the brads and Make a sort of chore chart. I would use the brads to switch around our household chores and family responsibilities.

I scrapbook because I am amazed at all the creative things out there in the world. I love being able to create these images. I am amazed at how my creative side comes out a little more with each page/card I make.

I would LOVE to have this tool! I'm a brad-a-holic and being able to customize my OWN brads would be sooooo awesome. I envision creating funky borders and design elements using the i-Top to make big brads mixed in with all my other brads. I sooo want this machine!!!

I would love this, I am a brad girl through and through. Love them as accents along a photo, as flower centers and to attach fun accents on my pages.

I posted the widget on my blog at www.julieboardman.blogspot.com and also posted to all my girlfriends on Facebook...gotta share the love!

I scrapbook for several reasons; of course it is all about the memories, but is also my creative outlet. I love spending "alone" time in my scrap studio creating pages and other crafts...it's so therapeutic and satisfying. Not to mention ADDICTING, lol.

I'd so love to try this with both my cardmaking and scrapbooking! It would be a great way to enhance everything with "brading" both pictures and decorative papers.

I do both cardmaking (birthday and Christmas primarily) and scrapbooking (I'd love to do more but right now, it's all about the 2yr old). I do the cardmaking because 1. I can, 2. I usually love the results, 3. Many recipients appreciate the results (there are a few who don't- I no longer spend a lot of effort on their cards since I know they're going in the trash with the wrapping papers 10min after opening.) The scrapping is all about remembering what was happening combined with doing more than just a photo album or photo collage.

Oh I want this tool so badly. I love brads, espcially big ones and my head is swarming with ideas on how to use it. I have 3 dogs and 4 cats that are my babies since I couldn't have children, so this would be a great way to show off their adorable faces on fun brads. Three times is a charm, I would so love to win this awesome tool

I scrapbook to reflect on my world and focus on the great things in my life. 12 years ago I was diagnosed with Lupus and 5 years ago Lupus induced peripheral neuropathy. I scrap so that I can forget the pain and reflect on the fun things my hubby and I do. I am disabled due to the disease, but crafting is the one thing that keeps me sane. I love this tool, and hope to win it so that I can create greater pages and projects.

Looking at the other post there are some things that I didn't think of like brads from photos --how cool is that. I'm planning my upcoming wedding this Winter and have to have everything match (am I a crafter or what?). This tool would be great to use for this for our favors (using our monongram) and all my other projects. This is ingenious! So Love It!

Heidi said...

I'd love to make my brads match my pp on the layouts. Also, my oldest child would have so much fun with the i-top brad maker.

Heidi said...

Why do I scrapbook? Because my memory is so-so, and I love to look back at our life through photos and stories.

Teresa Kline said...

I do not scrapbook very often, but when I do it is to preserve memories.

I make cards all the time to send to others and for my creative outlet.

I scrapbook to document my children's memories, and when I see my daughters looking at their books and laughing, it all makes it so worth while. It's also a wonderful creative outlet!!

I so want this tool. I was soooo jealous when my friend bought it a couple of weeks ago. I have been talking it up to everyone I know that scrabooks. I scrapbook to save my family's memories but it also is great stress relief. I only have boys so scrapbooking is " one of the few "girly" things I do. I am still trying to get my youngest son to scrapbook and keep showing him Tim Holtz stuff to entice him :)

Scrappuccino said...

Would love to try one of these. I like the idea of using for pictures.

Bel said...

Can't wait to see your i-top bradmaker tool in action! Thanks for the opportunity! :)

Bel said...

I scrapbook as a way to remember and appreciate the everyday as well as the milestones, and as a chance and an outlet to use the creative part of me (my day job is pretty analytical!) and play with paper and colors, something which I've loved since a child! :)

Samantha Taylor said...

I would make lovely flower centers. This tool is amazing!

I am a stay at home mom to 2 boys, so I scrap to stay creative and sane!

1nicsmom said...

I scrap book because it keeps me sane! ! ! ! It reminds me to be thankfull! ! ! !

Anonymous said...

why i scrapbook....well it's the only time i really get to spend doing what *i* want to do. I have two boys and a fiance and i'm the only woman in the house (even the dog is male) so anytime spent doing crafty kinda-not-male things is a good time for me. my boys sometimes like to sit next to me and paint or stick a billion stickers or scraps of paper on their own projects but mostly it's just me. it's my creative outlet, my time alone, my therapy. Of course the bonus is the pages i'm making for my boys and the rest of my family as well as capturing those moments that are all too fleeting. it's a win-win deal!

I promised myself that I would never scrapbook. It was to expensive and took up to much time. Well, when my son went on a mission for our church and sent home pictures, I knew I had to start. Now I'm an addict, just like I knew I would be.

I posted a message on imaginisce's Facebook page, where I also missed the announcement, but I don't know how to do Widgets (for a reasonably intelligent person, I just don't get it)! Someday, hopefully in the not-too-distant future, I can afford to purchase the entire set-up all at once. Fingers crossed!
