Imaginisce attends the Quilt Market Show (new tool announcement)

Last weekend our crew hosted a booth at the Quilt Market trade show in Houston, Texas. Here's some pictures of our booth. We'll be featuring some of these darling quilted projects on our blog soon...so be watching!
Imaginisce featured the popular i-rock tool collection.

And of course we showed all those great crafting and quilt retailers the i-top tool program and all the wonderful accessories now available.

In preparation of the Quilt Show we had our resident video gal Erin Bassett create us a fun video showing how easy it is to cover our i-top daddies with FABRIC.

I'm very excited about both the new tools. But mostly about the cordless glue gun. I can think of alot of things I can use it for. Definitely would be great for gluing larger items on cards and layouts. Love it. Can't wait. Thank for the chance to win.

1. SO excited about a cordless glue gun!!! Is there anything you can't use a glue gun for? I would use it for home decor projects!

2. I have just started the urge to quilt! I want to SO badly so I can't wait to see what you have up your sleeves! :) Everyone needs a sewing machine! :)

Thanks for the great chances to win!!!

Erika said...

I just started sewing and LOVE IT!! I love my sewing machine. Really love being able to create original pieces. Again thanks for the chance to win. Would love to add an iTop to my collection.

Wow! I'm most excited about the i-bond cordless glue gun! I love my i-rock and the fact that it's portable for crafting. Now I can't wait to get my hands on the i-bond. I would be totally cordless and I could craft anywhere! Thanks for another great product!

Vicki said...

Oooo weee. Great new tools. I'll be getting both but most excited about d-stress. I do some sewing, quilting, fabric crafts. Love my sewing machine.

I can't decide! A cordless glue gun? That is fantastic and would be much easier to use than my current glue gun. But the D-Stress Creative Paper Edger sounds cool, too, and I've always wanted a tool to help me give my layouts a cool distressed look. I guess if I had to pick one, it'd be the D-Stress. That's awesome!

Scrapycandy said...

The d-tress creative paper edger will be perfect for all my paper and mini-book crafts...can hardly wait! Thanks!

Cindy deRosier said...

I don't think I need a cordless glue gun (though it is a good idea for those who use a glue gun often), but I ABSOLUTELY DEFINITELY NEED the d-Stress tool! I've tried just about everything in the house to sand down tiny little edges or crannies- this will totally solve that problem!

arlsmom aka Lynda said...

I would have to say the d-stress excites me the most...although I could see myself doing a lot more with a glue gun that wasn't "strapped" to the wall... quick fixes and things...okay..I think I want them both!!!
I dabble in sewing...my machine is awesome, so it could use some more love... this time of the year I pick up a lot of pins in the fabric store for teacher gifts like ornaments...

tomiannie said...

I love that cordless glue gun! Mine has a pretty short leash, which makes it a pain when I'm trying to craft while watching a movie or something else not within 2 feet of an outlet.

Scrapycandy said...

As a quilter I love my seam ripper...I need that a lot! :)

tomiannie said...

I think my favorite fabric related item is my sewing machine. I don't really know anything but the basics, but it's sure fun to play around creating things!

Eva said...

Oh, WOW....how could I pick? I think both are essential and I love the fact, that they are portable! I would love either of those and I think they would be perfect for using them on altered projects. Thanks for the chance and congrats on coming out with awesome new tools!

Kathy said...

I have been sewing since I was in elementray school. I love to make everything from home decor, kid's clothes, Halloween costumes, hair accessories and craft items. My favorite tool right now is my sewing machine. I finally upgraded from the machine I got for Christmas when I was 10! I'd love to use the i-Top with fabric! Thanks for more great products!

Lydia said...

Oh me oh my, this looks so exciting, I love the destresser!! Can't wait to try it!! I vollenteer at my son school too and that cordless glue gun would be awesome for school stuff. FABULOUS!!

Pink Cricut said...

I am excited about both--but if I had to pick one- it would be the i-bond--I always feel so tangled by short cords!!

Ashleigh said...

I am excited about the I Bond. I hate the cord on my hot glue gun. This will make me get less frustrated. But I am curious about the d-stress because I have never done distressing before.

I am hopefully going to get an I top soon!

I am most excited about the d-stress. I already have a cordless glue gun, but nothing that works well to sand/destress in small spaces.

Anonymous said...

OH WOW!!! I am in love with BOTH of these little gems!!! SERIOUSLY?!?! A cordless glue gun and a distresser?!?! Since I have to choose one...I would have to purchase the d-stress first...to use on my mini albums and other scrappy projects...and then would purchase the i-bond SOON AFTER...to adhere buttons and such to my projects (you know, the ones that are not made using my i-top?!?!)

Anonymous said...

These new tools are awesome... can't wait. The glue gun especially. been needing something like this forever!

Snips and Snails said...

I don't quilt, but I do sew and cross-stitch and applique. I love my sewing machine and have started using it on layouts also.

ShoppingTamii said...

the d-stress looks fun to work with, I love distressing things!
I like to sew on paper, but I don't sew fabric anymore, mostly because my sewing machine isn't great, but works fine on paper. I do like to look in the remnant section at the fabric store, and use that in my scrapping. I also just bought a yard of brown burlap for scrapping with :)

Anonymous said...

yes...I love to sew (not really good at it, but I find happiness when playing around anyways) and absolutely LOVE all of the BEAUTIFUL prints of fabric available!!!

Unknown said...

The Creative paper edger, because you can also engrave with it! How awesome.

{VICKI} said...

A glue gun with no cord???? Yeah that would be for me.

I'm not a sewer so I don't have any sewing tools other than a needle and thread.

Myrto said...

Both tools are very handy! I tried hard to choose one as I use similar tools a lot. The d-stress is my pick as it is more fancy, but perhaps the cordless glue gun would be more practical!

Helen said...

1. I'm very excited for the cordless glue gun--I would love to glue without that cord in the way!

2. I like to make fabric crafts but don't usually need a sewing machine so I use a really good cutting mat and roller cutter!

Thanks for the chances to win!!

Chelle said...

I am more excited about the glue gun...it is nice to have to plug in one more tool.

I am not a sewer so I have a needle and thread for putting buttons back onto clothing items.

Manhattan Mandie said...

I'm so excited about the cordless glue gun! I would love to have one of these for putting together some of my home decor projects. It would be great to have another tool without a cord... I have enough cords on my desk! I love all of your awesome tools!

Anonymous said...

oh wow - such cool new tools! I've been rocking my i-rock (sorry, couldn't resist)...

I have a very basic sewing machine (14 stitches)and I use it on both paper and fabric. I love sewing flowers and ribbons for paper projects - mixing media really adds dimension.

And the glue gun is a totally brilliant idea. How wonderful to have no cord! And well, it's Imaginisce pink so that wins it hands down :)

Manhattan Mandie said...

I'm not a sewer yet but I intend to learn. With two little girls in my house I need to learn! I do like to make fun accessories though and would love any tools that could help me with that :) I could really use a good case to hold all of my i-top and i-rock tools and accessories!

Megan Collier said...

I am so excited about the cordless glue gun! I can't tell you how long I've waited for one of these! AHH! Thanks Imaginisce!

Megan Collier said...

I love making T-shirt bags and my favorite tool is using Heat-n-Bond and the small pen-line irons. They are perfect for applying heat to small pieces of fabric!

Thanks for all you do always!

Totally Twisted Cards said...

Hi. Awesome new tools! What I'm most excited for us the circles hot glue gun. I've had my corded one I bet for 15 years now. That cord is always getting in the way. My fax quilting tool would be my sewing machine. Thanks for a chance to win.

Stacy said...

I love both of the new tools....I think I would use the cordless glue gun the most!! It's soooo cute!!!

Anna Fearer said...

OMG!! This is so awesome! I could really use the cordless hot glue gun! I make handmade paper flower sprays and I'm so limited to where I can create since my gun has a cord. Thank you so much for coming up with this tool! I love it!

Marla said...

I am very exciting about the distressing tool and think it would be a GREAT addition to my scrapbooking room for my cards and scrapbook layouts!!

Terry@ a quilting blog said...

Both of these new tools would be fantastic to own. I'd especially love the cordless glue gun for working on all my projects...no cord hanging in the way, not having to use an extension cord to plug an electric one in so it reaches the work table and being able to work inside or outside the house (anywhere in fact!). My favorite fabric related tool are my scissors that are dedicated just for cutting fabric and ribbon. Thanks for the chance to win!

Tona said...

I love both these tools but I'm most ecited about the distresser because of the variety of tips...distress a little, distress a lot.
My sewing machine is my favorite sewing tool. I enjoy adding fabric to cards as wll as just sewing paper onto cards.

Carol N said...

1. I'd really really love the D-stress tool. Sounds like it would make distressing papers and chipboard items very easy.

2. I crochet, sometimes with fabric strips. I have been making bread baskets and serving baskets and fabric buttons would look really nice holding the handles on. So, my favorite sewing tool would be needles to sew the handles on the baskets. Would love all of these tools.

Lola said...

1. I think the cordless glue gun would be a great item to have and it is pink. I also think I would us the D-stress tool lots. for just doing edges of mats with out having to sand.

2. I do sew and that was my first love. I guess my sewing machine would be my favorite but I do know that there are lots and lots of new sewing tools.

yougotmel said...

I love both new tools but would probably use the glue gun more since it is cordless and will be so much handier than my present glue gun. I can see myslef using the dstress tool a lot also though. I have made quilts in the past and keep a cross stitch block going at all times. I haven't worked on the quilt blocks lately though because I'm so far behind on all my scrapbooks.

wendipooh13 said...

oh wow both tools are ones that I would TOTALLY use!!!!! gosh.. I LOVE the cordless glue gun esp since the cords on the ones always seem toooo short to go very far!!! I am such a huge destresser too....

I do sew a little. not tons. my sister does alot and she is amazing

Lindy said...

I'm most excited about the d-stress edger. I like to distress a lot of my layouts and I think this would be awesome addition.

I don't quilt but I sew and I LOVE my sewing machine.

Hugs..

Lacey said...

How fun!! I love the distress tool! I love using that technique on my projects! It looks so versatile!!

Mandy P. said...

Oh my...I would love to have a cordless glue gun to use for making hair bows and flowers for clips and headbands.

I quilt and sew lots of different things...purses, costumes, pillow cases, paper, scarves, blankets(usually add embroidery). Favorite tool has to be my applique scissors because they get into the tiniest places.

Thanks for the chance to win!

Lacey said...

I dabble in sewing (simple things). My favorite sewing tool would be my Sizzix die cutting machine and a sewing machine! I love creating flower pins, and accessories for handmade clutches & pillows

Melissa D. said...

The tool that I am most excited about is the cordless glue gun. I have always thought that would be a great idea since the cord always gets in the way. Great job making it happen! I'd definitely use it to make holiday crafts with my daughter without the need to be right next to an outlet!

Melissa D. said...

Although I am not a quilter, I do sew and also do some stitching on my scrapbook pages. One of my favorite places is our local fabric store! I got my sewing machine a few years ago and that is definitely my favorite fabric related tool.

Jen said...

I think the d stress tool looks like it could be a lot of fun. I have a glue gun but cordless would be nice and it's pink :).

Jen said...

I love to sew! I'm still learning and would love to take a quilting class someday. I love my sewing machine and cutting mat with rotary cutter! I enjoy doing primitive stitching and applique quilts! The i-top would be awesome to use on some of my quilts!!!

Suz said...

all your tools are so cool, useful & well thought out. I would love to use the little distress tool since i make lots of minis & like to rough up edges on layouts

EileenMV said...

well, I already have the I-Top & the I-Rock and love, love, love them! I am excited about the d-stress tool - looks great!!!

Maureen Reiss said...

I'm most excited about the distress tool. I distress almost everything, wether its w/ ink or my sandpaper. This tool would make it soooo much easier. Thanks for the chance to win

Suz said...

I'm also a quilter & into mixed media so I do lots of sewing on fabric and paper. as a longtime quilter that used to cut templates and pieces with scissors the most life changing make it so much easier tool has been the rotary cutter, large acrylic ruler & self healing mat.

Robin Gibson said...

Both are SO clever! But if you force me to pick my favorite...it would be the distress tool! I especially love how it gets into the little nooks & cranny's of little chipboard letters! FABULOUS!!! Thanks for a great opportunity!

Janette said...

The cordless glue gun. If something has to be plugged in, I tend not to use it, so this will be FABULOUS. Nice work!

LisaM said...

Love the idea of a cordless glue gun! How cool! It would be so handy to make all those cute rolled flowers!

I love to stitch on all my layouts whether it's with my sewing machine or by hand! My fav tool is my sewing machine.

Thanks Kim for sending me over her for the ch`ance to win these cool tools!

Shauna said...

I am way excited for the d-stress creative paper edger! I can't wait to get my hands on one - it will be awesome for sanding small spaces on chipboard. Then I won't have to fold up sandpaper really small anymore :)

I love love love anything related to fabric. My sewing machine was my favorite but it just recently died on me and I'm on the hunt for a new one.

Thanks for the chances to win!!

turleyH2O said...

Both look great, I use a glue gun alot so it would be the most beneficial for me but I have wanted to try a d-stressing tool for paper crafts.

I am a sewer, but not a quilter. I sew fabric projects, clothing, and also paper!

I'm really excited about the cordless glue gun. I've never used a glue gun before and would love to make a beautiful wreath with it. Since I know how easy your irock is, I figure I could manage your glue gun too.

I love to do rag quilts, although I am just starting.... I would say my fave accessory that has the most use is a rotary cutter which I use with paper crafts as well! YAY a pink glue gun without cords how awesome is that.... I am still waiting for the I top... My birthday is coming I am crossing my fingers...

1. Ooohh I love the new d.stress tool!! I love to distress my paper and this will make it that much easier:)

2. I love to stitch on my LO's, cards etc. so my sewing machine is definately my favourite and is always easy accessable. I shop for fabric, ribbons, lace or any bits & pieces to add to my projects!!!

ohh I like the cordless glue gun Mine doesn't get hot enough any more so it is about time for a new one. I would use it to make a few christmas gifts for teachers.

Lara said...

I'm a quilter want to be. Just don't have the time right now. I have done a quilt and a few table runners. My tool is my large fiskers cutting mat and rotary cutter. I'm going to make pillow cases for christmas and use some of that chunky rick rack.

Stacey Brucale said...

1. I am so excited about the d stresser. It looks like so much fun!

2. The only sewing I do is fake stitching on my cards and scrapbook layouts. I would love to try doing the real thing one of these days though.

Gotta say I LOVE that cordless hotglue gun. HOw handy for traveling. That is a great idea, especially if you need to take it with you to a crop or something.

I do a little sewing. Not a ton. I do some on cards, and I have been working on a fabric banner craft for my DD's class.

I am the most excited about the new d-stress Creative Paper Edger. I love to distress and ink my paper projects and using sand paper is harsh to my hands sometimes. This would be a great tool to have for my crafting. Thanks for the chance to win.

I am just starting to learn to quilt, my mother and sister both quilt and are teaching me. Right now my favorite fabric tool is the Accuquilt. My mother has one and it makes cutting the fabric so easy and quick. Thanks for the chance.

cordless glue gun, seems awsome to me. I don't sew as much as i used to due to the fact i have no fabric store near me right now. i used to make clothes. the itop would be sweet for making purses. would be fun.

Oh my gosh I am SO excited about the edge distresser!!! I love the look of distressing my edges and a tool that can get into those tiny edges will ROCK!!!

Out of these two, I am most excited about the glue gun! I use one regularly, but it is corded and a pain! I would love the ease of the cordless one for my art dolls!

As for fabric projects, I do lots of them! I create art dolls, clothes for them, pin cushions, and other fun fabric projects!

LesleyfromWI said...

If I had to pick it would have to be the d-stress Creative Paper Edger. I love distressing LOs and cards and this would be perfect and so much faster than the way I do it.

I am just learning how to sew. My husband inherited an antique foot pedal sewing machine from his grandma which he has used and is actually teaching me how to use. I am learning as I love how people stitch on their LOs and cards!

KellyG said...

I would be a woman on a mission with that cordless glue gun! I actually don't even own a glue gun and one of the main reasons is because of the cord!! I would use it on scrap projects, altered items, my sons projects and broken toys and fixing things around the house! A new must have for every woman!! As for sewing I do crosstich so I guess I would say a needle is my best friend.

Kim M said...

The paper edger for sure!! I love the distress my pages and this would be perfect. I don't do much sewing. I would love to quilt but just haven't had the time. My life is pretty busy and I only can seem to manage one hobby at a time and my hobby of the moment is scrapbooking.

Suzy Nurmainy said...

1. Absolutely I need the d-stress creative paper edger! I love to distress my scrapbook page and cards :)
2. I don't have sewing machine yet but I love to sew paper, fabric and ribbon to my scrapbook page and cards, so I used needle and cutting mat.
Thanks for the chance to win! I'm so excited!

Kelly Massman said...

I am most excited about the d-stress! I love to add dimension/interest to my papers!! I don't have a sewing machine but occasionally add fabric to pages and/or make small hand-sewn items! Love fabric just am not adept at using it compared to paper! Thanks for a chance to win!

JJ Sobey said...

I'm most interested in the d-stress. I find it aggravating trying to get into tiny corners, and this would do the trick!

I also sew, quilt and do needle work. I love my rotary cutter and my gingher scissors. I despise my sewing machine - I use it a ton, but it's a crap machine.

Steph B said...

Hard to decide which I love most, my glue gun falls over all the time because of the cord so I love the i-bond! But mostly, I CAN'T STAND BLOCK SANDERS!!!!I have yet to find something that will do the job properly! So d-stress it is then.

When I go to the fabric store it's for the "antique" cotton lace, it comes in all widths colors and sizes, it's so girly and pretty!

For fabric arts I do mostly embroidery and applique. My favorite tools are my pinking shears and rotary cutter.

1. OH MY! Do I have to choose?, they both would be amazing, but I guess it would be the hot glue gun, I already have a cheap and nasty one that I'v had for about 7 years, but it drips hot glue everywhere and I am forever burning myself with it!

2. No I don't quilt, although I have been wanting to learn for ages now, but I do have a sewing machine which lives on my scrapping table because I love to sew on my layouts (I also do lot's of hand sewing on them), and I just bought myself the i-top tool, (which I just LOVE) and I have been making all my brads from scraps of material I already had, so I can't wait to check out the quilt shops to get myself some really cool/fun materials so I can make some buttons too! It is sooooo addictive, I love it hehehe!!!

Im very excited about both of these new tools. My absolute favorite would be the paper distresser, Ive never seen a tool like it, and I think it would be very helpful when scrapbooking .

I also sew and do needle art, cross stitching would be my favorite. My favorite tool for that would be the thread holders to keep my thread all organized.

Thanks for the chance to win!

I don't use a sewing maching but love to use needle and thread on my layouts and I'm always using my little quilting ruler that I stole from my mom for my layouts. Would so love to win some of the i-top tools. I do love fabric and fabric covered anything.

Brett said...

It's a toss up between which tool I would like to have more ... but since I already have 2 glue guns (they're not cordless though!!) I would have to say the d-stress would be my choice. I don't do a lot of distressing now because I don't have the right stuff for it, so this would be a lot of fun to play around with!

Brett said...

I love sewing! I use my sewing machine and cutting mat on an almost daily basis. I love having cute buttons for embellishments on my projects.

Tina said...

WOW - these are ALL great new products, BUT, if I had to 'pick one', I'd be totally into the '
d-stress Creative Paper Edger'. I love the vintage, old, destressed look, and this would be perfect for that.

Bonnie said...

that d-stress looks like a tool I could and would have fun with and then there is always the i-top. I don't quilt as such but I do sew from time to time and I have been known to do the occasional cross stitch which has found its way onto a card or layout a few times.

Elle V. said...

I sooo NEED the cordless glue gun! I am the biggest klutz you will ever meet, and I can't tell you how many times I have burned myself because the cord gets in the way! Please save me! LOL

I am not a quilter but I would definitely use fabric with the i-top ..if I had one.

Becky Garrison said...

#1 - Oh, definitely the dstress tool! I'm a paper crafter / card maker and love distressing paper, chipboard, etc. So I'd love to have one of these!

#2 - I'm not a quilter, but I do sew, and am a 'fabric-a-holic' BIG TIME! Just today I rearranged my fabric so I could find what I am looking for when I need it! I make all kinds of fabric crafts from pin cushions to flower brooches, to lavender sachets, to fabric wall hangings and more! I love my sewing machine, but if I had to pick one favorite tool or product I'd have to say button and craft thread. It's stronger and a tad bit thicker than regular thread - perfect for crafting!

Studio5150 said...

I'd definitely want the cordless glue gun. I only have one outlet under my craft table so that would eliminate me having to get under there and unplug something else in order to use my gun.

Ann said...

I don't really work with fabric or quilt. Occasionally I'll hand stitch on a card or layout. Of your two new tools, I'd say I'd be more likely to use the d-stress tool. The edge distresser I presently use cannot get into the nook and crannies on die cuts and chipboard, so your new tool sounds fabulous!

~*Erin*~ said...

1) I am most excited about the cordless hot glue gun. Such a simple idea but will save you SOOOO much trouble! I love the idea of not being tied down to one area due to a cord!

2) Not really a sewer but I love fabric for scrapbooking pages and for making quick easy shirts for my daughter! My favorite "tool" is heat webbing. Love how quick and easy it is to use! Perfect for me with a lack of sewing skills!

PamSpradlin said...

I quilt and I could not quilt without my cutting pad that is marked for every angle. And my serger sewing machine...love this machine.
I am most excited about the d-stress tool. I love to rough up the edges of most of my paper crafting projects.

Anna said...

I would use the cordless glue gun. It looks awesome. I don't sew much at all. The d-stress tool looks very interesting.

Ronda Archangelo said...

1) OOooo...I'd love to have a nice pink glue gun without a cord. It would work so nicely on my desk where I don't have an outlet. I think my most often used tool is my paper cutter.

2) I go to the fabric store all the time for scrapping supplies, ribbon, lace, buttons, thread, beads, etc. AND its all for cardmaking or scrapping!

1.)I am already in love with both of the new tools, but the cordless glue gun is a wonderful idea! Not only will it offer much more freedom and versatility, it will also give me more piece of mind! I have an 18 month old and I won't have to worry about her grabbing the cord and pulling it off my table onto her!
2.) I do some sewing. I mostly do smaller hand-sewing projects. I have a sewing machine....but...haven't used it in a LONG time! :) So I suppose my greatest sewing tool is a good needle?
Thanks for the amazing opportunity to win!

wow I am super excited about either of these tools but I really think I would use the glue gun more at this moment.

I am just now finishing up my first quilt. I am making a baby quilt for my first grandchild. I can't wait to get it done and then get my fabric ordered for the quilt I want to make for myself. I really never thought I would like quilting but it is so much fun!

Hello! =o)

My ABSOLUTE FAV thing to do at the fabric store (Spotlight here in Australia) is to take the kids and let them go through and pick their fav textured, coloured, and printed fabrics. Then, we go home, and pull out the "Big Button Box", Ribbons, Glitters, and Googly Eyes. It is so fun just to make whatever. Ie: dolls, animals, pillows, etc. The kids enjoy it immensely. I don't have many tools bcz I know hardly anything about sewing. I love my box of buttons, but I guess all the different needles you can use are always fun! Thx for reading!

Its so hard to choose but if I had to pick JUST one it would be the D-stress tool. I love to distress scrapbook pages and cards... this tool will make the distressing easier and faster.. probably give a whole new look to distress!!!

I'm a crafter at heart, so this cordless glue gun ia a must have!! I have a small one with a long cord and it always gets all tangled. This would be perfect for alll my projects. I love using fabric on my cards and layouts so I am always in the fabirc store looking for great scraps. Thanks for the chance to win.

1. I love both new tools, but the d-stress tool is my favorite! I can't wait to try the engraving!

2. I do just a little bit of sewing by hand, and I haven't used a sewing machine since Home Ec. in 8th grade! I have been cutting fabric with my Cricut and Cuttlebug, and I love to shop for different fabrics!

Thanks for the chance to win!

I think I like the idea of the distress tool the most. It'll be great for layouts, chipboard, altered things. So exciting!

Samantha Taylor said...

I don't do a lot of sewing, but I do love adding fabrict to cards and layouts as accents. Add such nice texture.

I am so excited about both new tools!! I think the cordless glue gun will be a wonderful tool to own. I love that I can use it anywhere and not worry about plugging it into an outlet!

I am looking forward to the cordless glue gun. I is always a pain in the neck to plug in my old gun and work around the cord. Plus I love the pink!

Jean said...

These are so cool!!! I so need a d stress tool! I use a steak knife now - pretty lame I know! This would probably prevent me from really ripping the page and ruining it like I have done in the past.
And, how cool is a cordless glue gun!

I dabble in sewing - mostly to make Christmas ornaments or a present every now and again. Have an inexpensive sewing machine that works great for these projects as well as scrapping.

Thank you so much for a chance to win!

I am very excited for the cordless hot glue gun. This has always been a contention of mine when glueing as it has a tendency to turn the gun when you set it down, hence dripping glue where you don't want it.
Can't wait, thanks for the giveaway.

Ohhh, both are super exciting!! If I had to pick only one, I think I would go with the d stress tool. I have been wanting something to do just that!!

2. I love the idea of sewing... But never really like the application. With all of the new American Crafts and Cosmo Cricket designs being turned into fabric... I could actually see myself making a few house-worthy items!!!

1. I'm most excited about the cordless glue gun - seems like the cord is always getting in the way and inhibots movement

2. Nowadays I mainly stitch on cards and layouts but I occasionally get the urge to stitch up a dress or other fun project like Halloween cushions and a costume.

1. The glue gun is my favorite because I need one so bad!
2. I sew just a little and mainly to repair clothes but must have my sewing machine!

I am most excited about the d-stress. I think it would be wonderful to use on chipboard and paper, but would also come in handy when helping my son with his cub scout Space Derby and Pinewood Car derbys.

I crafted with fabric before I started scrapbooking, so I have many items I use for both hobbies. My sewing machine and my cross stitch thread are used the most in my scrapbook pages.

Way cool new tools!! The d stress is like a mini cordlss dremel!!
1)I'm most excited about the i bond - would love to use it on my paper projects for chipboard or rollie rosies.
2) I love my sewing machine - and so wish I was more into using it - but the uncoordinated sewing person that I am - it is at my mothers and she does my sewing!! LOL LOL

Martine said...

cool! I'm most excited about the d-stress paper edger! I love to distress about every edge of my papers and sand every picture! this would be great!

I don't sew much, but I'd love to start incorporating more fabric into my LOs!

I don't sew or quilt, but I love the look of fabric on my scrapbook LOs and projects. I buy a lot of Fat quarters to play with, so I love the idea of using the i-top to create fabric buttons!

These new tools rock!!! I would love both... so many uses for them!! But if I had to choose one, I would say the distresser. It looks like a fun tool that is going to open the door to new crafting possibilities!!

As for fabric stores... yes, I go into them often. I am not much of a sewer but I am starting to do a bit more of it! right now my 8 year old daughter is all about making her own hair accessories and wants to be a fashion designer!! This requires a lot of trips into fabric stores!! lol!! (Not to mention the pieces I pick up for all my crafting projects!!)

Like so many, I'm awed by both tools. If I have to pick just one, it would be the cordless glue gun. The cord always seem to be in the way.

I for have been sewing, embroading and quilting for a really long time. My grandmother taught me when I was a young girl.

It seems to me that when you sew, the most important tools necessary is a needle and thread.

Awesome new tools!! I am loving that cordless glue gun....I have had many projects that have needed a glue gun and I have had to move my work to a table next to an outlet to finish the projects. A cordless one would be perfect for me.

Carol Ric said...

Both tools are great! I would probably use the cordless glue gun the most with my craft items. I use my sewing machine the most and is a must have for us quilters.

Amy C said...

I sew and I absolutely ♥ my sewing machine....I don't think I could survive without it. I am not sure how my ancestors use to make their own clothes, but if they had to do it by hand, it would have taken them a long time to get one garment finished. I am so thankful that I have power and my sewing machine to cut that time way down when I am making clothes for my kids.

johnandcarolee said...

Wow! Soo much fun in these tools and their creative possibilities!!

1. Love both tools - I think if I have to I would choose the cordless glue gun. It saves time!! It saves space!! No fumbling with cords (to store or to pack), no cord to bump and knock over the hot gun (such a safety hazard, those cords!! :) ) No set up or searching for an outlet. Just switch it on and craft!! I would use it for scrapbooking (larger accents, charms, flowers, etc.), floral crafting (wreaths, adhering flowers to home decor items, etc.), attaching clay pieces together, and all sorts of fabric and Christmas crafts!! (Even some repairs!!)
Love the distress tool because it gives control and precision over the distressing process with its great tips, and it keeps the sandpaper or file away from my skin! Yay! I would certainly use this for distressing paper and those elusive curves on chipboard letters and shapes. I might even use it to shape baked clay or plaster creations.

2. I love to sew!! Quilts, clothes, blankies - so fun! My favorite tool is my serger because it makes cozy things quickly - cutting and finishing the edges for me all at once. Really want an i top!!!!Soo fun to embellish things I sew with matching buttons!!

Thanks for your fabulous products and the chance to win! Keep up the great creating so we can, too!

BabyScrap'nSew said...

1. I love the hand held distress tool - more techniques to try on my layouts!

2. I sew clothes for my baby girl and quilt! i love my sewing machine, it does a lot! button holes, gathers, zigzags...

Kym's Crafty Cards said...

Hello there. What wonderful items you have brought out. Which to choose - a cordless glue gun and a distresser? I like the idea of the cordless glue gun as I don't use a hot glue gun as I would get all tangled with the wire. I so loveeeeeee distressing so I thing the d-stress would have to be the winner for me.

I used to do cross stitch but with dodgy hands and eyes prevent me from doing this now so my stitching is faux or real stitching for cards now.

Best wishes, Kym xxx

My favourite is the cordless glue gun! The cord is always getting in the way and makes it dangerous since it can so easily get pulled off the table!
Thanks for sharing! :o)

I hit the fabric shops to look for trims, ribbons, buttons, embroidery threads and scissors. They also carry great tools that might be made to make sewing easier but are just as useful for paper crafts like good lighting, magnifying or storage items.
Thanks for sharing! :o)

Well, I must have them both! My cheap glue gun is in desperate need of replacing but if I could only have one right now I'd definitely go with the D-Stress! It looks so cool! I'm already pondering all of the fabulous things I could do with it!

As for sewing, I dabble in sewing. I made my daughter and niece some pillowcase dresses this year and it made me want to do more but alas my sewing machine is still tucked away nicely under my desk. It is my favorite sewing tool but I must use it more! (it is giving me a seriously neglected look as I type this)

That D Stress is amazing! I was thinking the other day, how much I hated rolling up pieces of sandpaper to fit them in tight places...this would be perfect! Very awesome tool here!

I just received my very first sewing machine last year for Christmas and am still trying to get used to it, but plan to get quilting and making clothes for my 2 girls' American Girl dolls :) For now, fabric I purchase ends up on layouts or as embellishments (fabric flowers etc.)

the IBond would be so great. To be able to use a glue gun without having to be close to an outlet. I love the idea, could use it with my clover kids. Oh what fun that would be.

As for fabric and sewing. I love to sew and made most of my girls dresses when they were little. I am now getting ready to make the oldest a quilt out of scraps from all of her little dresses and play outfits. Sad for us however, is that there is no fabric store in our county. We have to drive over an hour away just to purchase fabric and sew. Bummer.
