Happy Camper Release - Day 3

Welcome back to day three of our Happy Camper release party and another day full of inspiration from our amazing design team. Firstly we'd just like to thank everyone for their wonderful comments about our Happy Camper collection and yes we read every single word you write. And it seems that so many of you have a whole hoard of camping photos tucked away in boxes and waiting for a day when the perfect collection comes along to inspire you to drag that box out and start scrapping your fun photos. Don't forget, we'd love to see what you create so make sure you stop by our facebook page and leave a link to your projects!

Mmmmm - S'mores! Nothing signifies camping quite like 'Smores and perhaps a camp fire thrown in for good measure. Actually when you come to think about it, you don't even need to go camping to enjoy this scrummy treat as you will see with our first layout for today created by Erin. Just have a close look at what Erin has been baking... yummo! And just to add a little extra sweetness you can pop over to Erin's blog HERE for the recipe to her S'mores cooke bar slice!

I can hardly stand to wait to get some of this fantastic new paper collection. The page embellishments highlighted on the DT layouts today are just as fabulous as the paper. I just love the marshmallows on the stick. I'm heading right over now to get that recipe for those s'more bars. Yummy!

I wish Imaginisce products were much more available in my area. I'm stuck with ordering online. It's really hard after seeing so many great projects not to want to run to my LSS and get some right then. Maybe someday.
As for my favorite camping spot....any where in the mountains is fine with me (as long as I at least have running water & bath facilities.)

I can't decide which I like best the bear or the little birdies!!

My favorite camping site would have to be the closest motel! I don't camp!! But, I love the paper and have a ton of uses for it.

I love all of the projects!!!! I will be trying Erin's recipe. As when we go camping we have Smore's every night! Our favorite camping spot is Raystown Lake.

I can't wait to get my grubby little hands on this collection!

Well, unfortunately at my age, my definition of 'roughing it' is room service. But we used to love to camp, and the place I remember best is up in Niagara Falls (Canada side)!
I love the embellies for this collection...they are just so so cute! And I love the cards today!

Glora said...

Todays samples were AMAZING too! I love the LO's. It is So fun to see and these cute kids having fun camping. My favorite place to camp is in a tent in the living room. I know I'm not too adventurous for overnighting it. But I LOVE going on hikes and going to places like Yellowstone and Zions National Parks. However, I prefer to spend my nights in a hotel or a cabin. Hugs- Glora

mmm, we don't have smore's here in the uk but I think I'll introduce them to my kids :)

my favourite camping spot is camping by the beach in Northumberland, so far from civilization the night sky is amazing to behold :D

I just love this paper line. All of it just makes me smile, all these projects reminds me of my younger, much younger days as a camper with my family in Tres Ritos, NM between Las Vegas and Taos, New Mexico. Such good times!:)

Love the layouts! I want a s'more right now! Well I did make brownies last night so that might hold me over until we get a campfire going! My husband and I move a lot. So I have never gone "real" camping with him, but we did sleep in a tent at my parents cabin! (and that is always a good time!) Nothing like being up in the middle of no where in Minnesota on a gorgeous lake! But he was a boy scout and I was a girl scout, so we have plenty of experience! Thanks for a chance win!

Nothing says summer camping trips like smores! Everyone did an exceptional job again today showcasing the Happy Camper line! I love the card Erin did with the paper bow, so cute! My favorite camping places were when we lived in WA state. There were so many wonderful places to camp in the woods right on the water! Can't wait to come back tomorrow for s'more inspirational projects! ;)

These are so wooderful (wonderful)! I love it all, the trees the fire, the bear, chipmunk, camper, ooo the logs oh and the BIRD!! Oh my goodness what crafty trouble I could get into with this is never ending! We are currently stationed here at Fort Bragg in NC so I am bummed to say due to the multiple deployments we have not found a location here, but we are PCSing to Hawaii in the next month so hopefully when we get there we will find a location, if any of you are in Hawaii (Fort Shafter) give me a heads up!

All right, I love your collection. Really it could be used for my boys or girls, for cards or all the camping pictures or just outside pictures I have. It is going to be a must have this summer!

I printed out the recipe already plus I bought marshmallows for regular s'mores this holiday weekend. Great projects today--my fave is Lydia's layout with the kids eating s'mores. Our favorite camping spot used to at a lake resort area but now it is on own property we bought a few years ago.

This line is so fantastic! I really mean that, it looks really easy to use & creates such adorable layouts, cards, & treat toppers!!! I wish I could try the S'more Cookie Bar recipe, but I'm recovering from surgery & am on a liquid/soft-foods only diet (maybe later in the summer I can give it a go). My favorite layout from today's pics are Lydia Jackson's 'Great Outdoors' - such clean simple lines yet powerful emotions! I also LOVE the bicycle card made by Erin Bassett. My sister is an avid biker & would so appreciate this card ... I'll have to make one for her once I get my hands on this line of papers!!

Savannah O'Gwynn said...

WOW! Fabulous projects shared today!! LOVE that first LO--love it! And that bow under the bike is super cute too! LOVE:) THanks for the chance to win:) sbmmhoover at yahoo dot com

Oh, I forgot to also include my favorite camping spot - we like to go to Camp Concordia in Gowen, MI (near Greenville). It is on a lovely lake you can boat, swim & fish in. All camping spots are either on the lake or in wooded areas. Great Campground & not too big :)

Kim said...

Definitely trying Erin's smores..As a child we went camping every weekend in the summer to Belleplain State Forest in Belleplain, NJ! I have so many fond memories of that place!

Tracey said...

Amazing projects!! The more I see of this collection the more I am loving it!!
Oh, and no secret camping spot for us. I like to go with my parents and siblings and nieces and nephews so I usually just go where they tell me. Camping is so much more fun with tons of kids around and that is what makes this collection perfect to scrap all of my pics.

Cynthia Baldwin said...

Such cute projects today! Have to say I like the orange touches- the orange polka dot pattern really catches my eye, especially how Lydia used it with pearls on her Happy Camper page.
Can't say that we have a secret camping spot. The best camping area I've ever been to was in Brazos Bend (Texas) state park. It was a cub scout campout, and we were camped in a spot close to shelter and restroom facilities (KEY for those like me who aren't outdoor "trained"). ;)

I love how the elements were used with different papers.  They did an amazing job!  Makes me want to go camping!  I can't tell you my fav camping spot but because I don't have one but I can tell you the absolute worse camping spot!  I don't even recall the name (maybe cause I don't plan on going again!) it is in east Texas near Beaumont and I believe it's actually a state park if I'm not mistaken.  Oh boy what an experience - the worst!!  We hiked about a mile to the swimming hole that ended up being just an area with sand near the lake but water was disgusting!! ;(  The best part is that I was able to spend it with my fam & I got some great pics.  Thanks for the opp!
