The first installment of I-space

Hey there everyone, It's Lydia and today I am excited to share with you my space, lovingly referred to as the nook. My space is quite small, it is actually a 8x6 ft corner of my living room. Since it is right in the center of my house it has to stay pretty tidy, so it actually does look like this after each project. During the flurry of creation it gets messy but for now let me take you on the tidy tour.
These beautiful desks are custom cherry desks that my loving husband built for me. They are the heart of my operation, everything else has been found at office supply stores and dollar stores.

On top of one desk is this inexpensive desk organiser that I altered to house all of the tools I reach for most often.

Then the three drawers on the side hold my punches and have a little garage for my sewing machine.

The center drawer is one of my faves, it holds all my ribbons, threads and buttons.

Up top on my shelves I have 8 of these marvelous plastic containers. I purchased them on sale years ago and they help keep all my other embellishments organised. My cardstock is kept right on my desktop for easy access, color reference and inspiration.

This is my bigger stuff drawer, I keep my thickers in the file folder, and the other containers at the back are for organising all my paper scraps.

Directly below that drawer is my pattern paper storage, they are in extra large file folders and are organised by manufacturer.

Well that is basically it folks, Now that you have seen my space at home, please pop over and check my space online. It will be a blog warming so to speak and what would a warming be without gifts, come by, follow and leave a comment for a chance to win a fantastic prize just from me.
Thanks for stopping by.
