Card Corner

Thanks for joining us today! We are sharing another new Design Team feature with you that our card-loving followers will love.
It's just all about cards! Nothing else .... just CARDS!

A few of the design team members have created some beautiful cards and they're so excited to share them with you. We hope that you will be inspired to get crafty today and make some cards of your own!

"Best Friends"

What a fabulous way to use the Snag 'em Stamps!! We love it!

"I made this card using the Sole Sisters purse stamp to create a pattern on the background paper as well as the focal point in the center of the card. Remembering to use your stamps to help create a pattern can add fun and dimension to your cards. What girlfriend wouldn't want to get this shopping-inspired card from a friend?!"

"Happy"

Regina created this gorgeous pastel card full of dimension and
here's what she has to say about her card.

"I used Pop-up Posies and the white i-rock Glam Rocks. The 'happy' was diecut from the Pop-up Posie packaging (it really is the perfect thickness and it coordinates so perfectly)."

"Best Friends"

The Houndstooth patterned paper is a striking combination with other patterned papers as it really makes the colors "pop" and appear so vivid. We really like all the hand-cut work that Abby has used on her card!

"I really love the houndstooth paper and Snag'em Stamps in this Sole Sisters line. I clear embossed the cute flowers stamps onto my green cardstock and surrounded it with fussy-cut flowers and that sweet Sticker Stackers "bff" embellishment. I topped off my card with some red ribbon, punched trim and some white pen doodles."

"Thanks a bunch"

We love the paper piecing idea that Ilene created on her card.

"I love this little stamp from the Sole Sisters collection since it comes with a sentiment, which makes putting a card together a breeze. Since the stamps are clear, it's also very easy to do paper-piecing with them. I chose coordinating papers and stamped the heads of the flowers on those sections that had a bright but unprinted background. For the flower that had a body too small to cut out, I added a little i-rock bling. Frame it in chipboard, tie a ribbon around it and pop it up with foam adhesive, add some more bling and ink the edges and you're done! The best thing about this stamp is that it's small enough to be the perfect-sized accent for a 4.5" x 5" card (which can go in the mail with a regular stamp) :) "

Are you feeling the urge to get out your scrapbooking supplies and start creating a whack load of cards?? We sure hope so.

Leave us a comment today as we'd love to know what kinds of cards you like to create most?

Really cute cards!

These are great! I admit that I most often create cards for challenges, so not specifically for an intended person/purpose. One of the things I want to do is to start creating cards with actual people in mind.

I am liking these design team features. You are showing us loads of inspiration. I do a lot of thinking of you cards...they can pretty much double for all sorts of cards especially when you need to send one out in a hurry.

I like making all sorts of cards, but my favorites are those I make with a simple little image and/or sentiment! I have grabbed a Snag'Em on many occasions for just that reason!
