Day 1 - Love is in the Air!

With Valentines's Day just around the corner the gals on the Design Team have been busy creating wonderful projects to share with you this week. We'll be sharing a variety of projects with you from cards to mini albums.

Today the focus is on CARDS.
Many of us like to give that special someone a card that expresses our love for them and here are some amazing examples to help inspire you as you create your cards.

Regina used some of the packaging from the Sole Sisters collection to diecut
the letters on her card. What a brilliant idea!!

The cluster of Roly Rosies and spiral flowers that Guiseppa has placed on the
heart shape just adds so much texture and visual interest.

Adding a touch of 'bling' by using the i-rock tool & some clear Hot Rocks
just makes this card sparkle.

We love how Ro outlined the heart designs on her card
with the Glam Rocks (in pearl and red glitter).

Giveaway!!!
We'll be having 2 giveaways this week.
One today and the other one ... well... you'll just have to join us each day this week to find out when that one will be!!

Do you like to give cards on Valentines Day? If so, do you buy them or make them? Let us know by leaving a comment HERE on this post and you'll be entered to win ...

a collection pack of Sole Sisters
(Winner will be announced this Friday)

******

Please join us again tomorrow because we've
got more great projects to share with you!

I give my hubby and kids handmade cards. In our house, since we have so many kids, we split up the holidays/occassions and divide them up between the kids. Then only 1 child has handmade cards to take to school for each occassion. The rest of the kids take store bought cards to their classmates/friends.

beautiful cards. tfs. i love making valentine cards for all my grandkids.

loving3boys1girl said...

I do a little of both! Sometimes I make cards and sometimes I just buy them. I mostly only do things for my kids to pass out at school. This year, between my 3 kids, I'd have to make 68 for other students and 3 for teachers so I just bought valentines for my kids to pass out this year. I'll probably still make cards for their teachers.
