Welcome back to Day 2 of our i-Magicut Intensive Week.
If you haven't yet seen this handy little tool by Imaginisce then you must take a look at this video because this tool is super fun, super easy and exactly what ribbon lovers need!
This video is with our own Deanna Lambson as she demonstrated the tool on ABC4 in Utah. She has some great tips on this tool.
"With my first card, Have Some Summer Fun, I folded my ribbon in half and followed the markings on the I-Magicut and simply held down the button for about one second longer than a regular cut. Wow...I will admit, I was skeptical. It made a perfect V shaped cut into my ribbon. This card was made using the Making Waves Collection."
"My second is a little different. It doubles as a card and a little gift. I cut it out using my Silhouette. I decorated it using the the Making Waves Collection and put a chalpstick inside. Again, I used the I-Magicut to give it the finishing touches. I followed the markings on the I-Magicut and it made a perfect cut, just the way I wanted it. Now, I have a no fray, cute bow on my card." I used the i-magicut to cut the ribbons for the cute little banner, and also on the ribbon wrapped around the photo. I love that the i-magicut works on all different types of ribbon like the lime colored thick and textured grosgrain, and even the orange stitched ribbon too! Perfect cut each time, and seals the ends beautifully so there is no fraying.
"I've been wanting to make a card like this for so long but never attempted it as I knew my ribbon ends would fray. Thank you, Imaginisce!! Using the i-magicut, I'm confident my ribbon will remain cleanly cut and frayless. I created the tree by making a bunch of ribbon ties and using glossy accents to adhere them in a round shape."
"I wanted to create something unique with my ribbon and use the i-magicut to seal the edges because this particular ribbon that I was using was driving me crazy and wouldn't stop fraying. I felt like I was going to run out of ribbon eventually because of all the fraying.
I was looking online for ideas and came across this adorable fish (you can find more details on my blog about this) and decided to give it a try. The i-magicut helped me finish off my design perfectly!"

I love ANY kind of ribbons... but i find that satin ribbon is the easiest to use and they make beautiful bows! What amazing projects your DT has created. That little ribbon fish on Cari's card is just too cute! Sooo clever! Thanks for sharing and for the chance to win! :)
Satin ribbon is my favorite of the moment, since I discovered how to make satin flowers :)
Each type has its own charms, but when sewing, I prefer grosgrain, and for cards and gifts, organdy or satin.
I am definitely a grosgrain girl!
Love the ribbon tree! Super cute!
My favorite ribbon to use is solid colored....any texture, but I really like solids!
I love all ribbon, but my favorite would be grosgrain. Love the cards and layouts by the DT.

Wonderful projects you shared today. I'm especially loving that chapstick card! Too cool! -- I probably use more satin than anything because it's what I have the most of but I LOVE patterned ribbon in fun textures.
I really like to work with grosgrain I think just because of the texture:)
I love all ribbon, but lately I have been into the pre-ruffled kind. so fun! thanks for the chance to win the tool.

i absolutely LOVE grossgrain ribbons... throw on some polka dots and i'm completely smitten!
What creative projects!!! My favorite kind of ribbon is grosgrain, mostly because it frays less than any other kind in my opinion. If I won this, I could branch out! ;)

Love all ribbon..I use patterned the most..;)
I love ribbon with the white stitching on the edges or checked! They are such classic designs but they make everything look super cute, just like twine!
I am totally in love with that tree card! My go to ribbon of late has been the crinkled seam binding you can find all over Etsy.
I love the old fashioned look of grosgrain ribbon (even do my girls' hair with it!). One of my main reasons for choosing it in the past was that it didn't tend to come unraveled as easily as some other ribbons. This tool is making me think I should expand my horizons now!
It would be grosgrain ribbons.
I love gross grain ribbon! Gotta say that ribbon tree and ribbon fish are brilliant! Thanks for the chance to win.
Grosgrain is my favorite but I love all the different textures of ribbon available.
Loving satin ribbon at the moment...
Is ric rac considered ribbon?
I love all ribbon and use all different types depending on what I'm making. However, I think my all-time favourite is double-faced satin ribbon as it makes the most gorgeous bows but also frays, so the i-magicut would be perfect!! Thank you so much for the chance. And I just want to say a huge well done to your designers - the projects are out-of-this world amazing!!! So much inspiration - you all ROCK!
The ribbon fish is so cute! I like grosgrain best, I think.

I love all types of ribbons, but I find that I use more of brightly colored ones and in solids.
I generally use all kinds of ribbon but a lot of sheer lately. So an i-Magicut would be perfect since sheer ribbon frays a ton! :)
Amazing projects!! I absolutely love the one with the ribbon making up the tree top!! Cuuuuute!! My go to is grosgrain but I love all kinds of ribbon. Would love to have this wonderful machine as even with sharp micro-tip scissors, my ribbons fray. Thanks so much for sharing and for the chance to win!
