Spring Button Bouquet
I have had a sweet little vase sitting on my desk for years just waiting for something to fill it with, so when I had the chance to create some buttons with my i-Top tool, I thought it would be fun to create a springtime button bouquet!
I used the Medium Button Daddies and covered them with some bright, happy fabric. They were the perfect size and I changed them into "blooms" by threading some florist wire through each, which I wrapped in ribbon. They made just the right posies to brighten up my craft table!
#1: Making a covered button was so easy. First, I cut fabric into rough squares and got my Button Daddies ready.
#2: After placing the Button top into the i-Top, I centered the fabric square over it.
#3: Give it a good squeeze!
#5: After the folding is finished.
#7: The finished Button!
Supplies used:
Tools & Accessories: (i-Top, Medium Button Daddies); Fibers: (green wired ribbon) Kate's Paperie; Other: (floral wire) Jo-Ann; Dies: Blossom Party Originals (Sizzix); Fabric: (Honeydew) Charms
I-Top Buttons / Coin Purse
I picked this coin purse up at Michaels about 6 months ago just knowing I loved it but had not idea how I wanted to embellishment. Well, let me tell you I found the perfect way to decorate this with ease - the I-Top! I dug into my fabric stash and found several coordinating fabrics to cover server different sized I-Top Buttons.
The tracing templates that with each sized button made cutting the fabric so easy and then the button top and bottom went together perfectly, with no extra bit of fabric coming loose. The I-Top is a must have for every crafter.
Once I covered all the bottoms I randomly sewed them on. I wanted to add a little gift tag to this and the new Childhood Memories line has the same color tones as my fabric. There you have it, my cute little coin purse ready for a special someone!
Supplies: Imaginisce - I-Top, I-Top Buttons sizes 16, 22, 34, 28, Childhood Memories Paper and Stickers
Other : Fabric Coin Purse, Adhesive, Thread

those are such cute flowers! i have never thought about that. I know what I will be doing soon.
Love the button flowers, the button covers are so well done and perfectly smooth. I wonder if I could do those old-fashioned button earrings? It would be so cute to make some that exactly match a favorite shirt.
I would love a tool like this! It would be very handy for my wedding gown! I am planning to order a custom made one by my mother and it will be very handy to help her dress the buttons!
I used to cover buttons with cloth using a clunky system many many years ago. Gave it up as it was just too difficult. The I-top looks so much easier. Cute projects.
Oh my gosh, I think the flowers is my favorite project from the three days. If I had an i-top I would make flower centers as well as decorate my cards and paper projects. I love this idea and I am so glad you all are sharing these projects!!! I would never have known!

I would love to create buttons to go with papercrafted cards.
I live in Florida so I wear lots of sun hats, sun visors, and caps to protect my face from the sun, and they all need some cute decor to make them unique, and maybe even to match a beach bag or two or three! I am also an avid paper crafter with my 2 Silhouette digital cutters and would certainly love to jazz up my projects with this incredible tool! Then there are the cute headbands I could make for my first baby granddaughter, and buttons for some clothes....and, and....it goes on and on and on!
love flowers are so pretty and the coin purse is the cutest! Thanks for the great projects!
