We've got a some more great ideas to share with you today.
"Life is Good"
What better way to spread some Irish cheer than with a little lucky pot o' gold. Filled to the brim with chocolate gold-foiled coins, my son is going to love getting this little treat on St. Patty's Day. We aren't really Irish, but his school and after-school program have always gone over the top with the leprechaun silliness, so he is really into the celebration of the day. I cut this pot o' gold using my Cameo and it was really easy to assemble — totally worth the extra steps to make my son't day a fun one.
SUPPLIES: Imaginisce Good Dog Pattern Paper; Silhouette Cameo, pot o' gold by Amy Robison digital cut; hemp twine; Close to My Heart stamped sentiment, black ink; Chocolate gold coins
"Trap"
A few years ago we made the most adorable cake for St Patrick's day. It doubled as a leprechaun trap. My son wanted to ensure that the leprechaun could see the gold coins and drew a sign for added attraction! There are several "different" features on this layout that add my own spin to some great Imaginisce products. First, I masked the phrase thus leaving me the heart from a stamp from the Good Dog collection and stamped a four leaf clover on the bottom right. The green fabric flowers with a petal cut out made great 3 leaf clovers in the patch.
