Inspired by Color with Regina & Marcia

We are back again today with this fabulous color inspiration piece.
We gave this photo to our design team and asked them to create a project using this as their inspiration. The colors from this piece are present in our recent collections so this made it even more fun!

Today we have designers Regina & Marcia sharing their talents with us.

"Call Me, Maybe?"

When I saw the inspiration photo for this month's Color challenge, I absolutely fell in love with the complimentary colors. I wasn't so much inspired by the butterfly (as gorgeous as it is), mostly because I wanted to scrap a particular moment for my son's scrapbook. So, I really let the colors do the work for me. What I love about Imaginisce is that the B-sides of its patterned papers are so versatile that I was able to pull together all the colors from several collections -- even one for Halloween! The Childhood Memories stickers were just perfect for my page about my son's love of gabbing on the "emergency" phone -- an easy way to turn a sticker into a dimensional is to simply adhere foam tape to the back of the sticker before brushing the remaining adhesive with a little baby powder!

Supplies used:
(patterned paper from Childhood Memories, Endless Summer, Monster Mash collections) Imaginisce; Cardstock: (Spotted) Core'dinations; Accents: (stickers from Childhood Memories collection) Imaginisce; Dies: (letter alphas) Taylored Expressions and Lifestyle Crafts; Electronic Die Cuts: (phone) Samantha Walker, (spotted circle border) Jamie for Silhouette

"Exploring"

I love this color combination and I took inspiration from the photo too when creating my layout. This is my cat Spook who loves to sneak outside to chase bugs. I thought it would be fun to stamp some paw prints and include some bugs. I love this old dragonfly punch of mine. I like to layer the dragonflies so they look like they are about to fly off the page. The Imaginisce i-Rock gives those dragonflies a little sparkle.

Supplies:
Imaginisce: Childhood Memories: Patterned Paper, alpha stickers, Sticker Stackers;  Good Dog: Pattern Paper, paw print snag 'em stamp;  Endless Summer: sun snag 'em stamp;  I-Rock tool; Hot Rocks Compact Jewel;
Bazzill cardstock in cream and black; Quick Quotes Powderpuff chalk ink in Baja Blue; Ranger Distress Ink in Vintage Photo and Antique Linen; Tsukineko Staz On ink; Little Yellow Bicycle Wood Naturals; Studio Calico wood veneers; Teresa Collins Now & Then Washi tape; Sixxiz dragonfly paddle punch; Sakura Micron pen; Silhoutte Cameo Die Cut machine.

Thanks ladies.
