A "Boo-tiful" Halloween

Making your own Halloween decorations can be quite fun & inexpensive. There are so many ideas out there now which really helps the creative process as well.

Today we have design team member Marcia Dehn-Nix sharing this fabulous wreath.

'Boo-tiful Wreath'

I was dying to make a Halloween wreath this year after seeing some really spooktacular ones last year. Imaginisce tools make it easy. I cut up some tulle into strips using my CutBright rotary cutter and tied it around a styrofoam wreath that I painted black.

Then it was ready for embellishing. I attached my bow and picks using wire, but to make sure they wouldn't slide, I used my i_Bond cordless glue gun. The raven and skull were also glued on with the i_Bond. I love that this glue gun is cordless!

I created my Boo Banner using papers from the Black Ice and Bushel O' Fall collections and some cardstock and strung it together using some bakers twine.

My i-Rock and some metallic hot rocks give my Boo banner some elegance. It really helped to tie it together with the bow and picks I selected.

They matched perfectly! i-Rock hot rocks and gems come in so many different colors that there is sure to be one to coordinate with your projects.

Imaginisce Supplies: Pattern paper: Black Ice and Bushel O' Fall; i-Rock; Metallic Hot Rocks; i-Bond; CutBright Rotary Cutter and Mat
The Twinery: bakers twine in charcoal; 12" styrofoam wreath; black spray paint; Celebrate It: Halloween Wired Ribbon and picks; Raven and Skull; Cricut Expression; Art Philosophy and Paper Doll Dress Up cartridges; wire

What a cute idea! I especially like the hot rocks on the letters. It adds such a nice touch without being heavy or overpowering.
