Today Suzanna Leeshares a great idea on how to use patterned paper on your layouts.
I created the background paper using the Sakura patterned paper from the Black.
Rather than having the diagonal stripes all run in one direction, I cut the paper in fourths, rotating each segment to created the diamond" that runs behind the picture. Layers of black and orange with a hint of green, all traditional Halloween colors, turned non-theme paper into a "guts-y" Halloween layout!
Supplies Imaginisce - Patterned Paper: Black Ice, Good Dog, Outdoor Adventure, Harvest Other - Distress Stain: Tim Holtz, Font: Honey Script; Mist: Studio Calico; Die: Papertrey Ink; Cut File: American Crafts (Design ID #48935)
What a great idea Suzanna!!
We've got more Halloween projects to share tomorrow so please stop by.
