Imaginisce & Kiwi Lane Designs - Day 4

We've come to Day 4 of our feature with Kiwi Lane Designs.  Are you wishing you could play with some of these templates after seeing the inspiration?

Well we've got more eye candy for you today!!

"Sweet"

The Kiwi Lane concept is such a wonderful idea.  I love the way a page can be created before you cut and adhere paper to my projects.  I received the Tiny Shapes Accessory.  These shapes are perfect for creating embellishments to my projects.  I chose the honeycomb shape to work with.  I used the big one as well as the smaller one.  I layered them to create some dimension on my layout.  I just love how it turned out and aren't my son and his date adorable?

Imaginisce Supplies:
Black Ice Patterned Paper, Love You More Patterned Paper and Stickers, Roly Rosies

Kiwi Lane Supplies:

"Rev Up the Fun"

I made a birthday card for a boy with my Kiwi Lane Aspen Court mini set and some Outdoor Adventure papers and die cut. The layers of paper made the perfect hills for the ATV die cut. I ran the yellow pattern paper through my computer to create the sentiment, then used the Kiwi Lane Shapes circle to cut out a sun. The Clicut works great to create a window card like this one.

"Loved"

On my second card I used the two hexagon shapes from the Kiwi Lane Tiny Shapes set. Hexagons are very trendy and I thought they would make a great background for my card.
I cut out several from different pattern papers in the Love You More collection and adhered them to a Black Ice piece of paper. I covered enough of the paper with hexagons that
I could then trim it down to card size. The templates work great for cropping your photos too. You can see through them. I marked my photo and then used my Clicut to cut it out. The blade will cut through the templates so use an acrylic guide.

Supplies:
Imaginisce Pattern Paper: Outdoor Adventure, Black Ice and Love You More; Die Cut: Outdoor Adventure; Stickers: Love You More; Clicut; i-Mat 8x8; i-Rock; Lighted Tweezers; heart gems; Foam Adhesive;
Quick Quotes Chalk ink in Mocha Mama, Midnight Confessions, and Baja Blue;
Kiwi Lane Aspen Court Mini set and Tiny Shapes set

"Wtiches & Ghosts"

The Tiny Holiday Accessory Set from Kiwi Lane is just perfect for the upcoming months!! You will be sure to get a ton of use out of this if you don't have a die cutting system. Not only would it be perfect for cards but for dressing up your layouts. Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year so, of course, the ghost and pumpkin spoke to me, calling out to be used. And what ghost isn't complete created from vellum with googlie eyes?! Honestly, the ghosts have googlie eyes as I was at a complete loss for another way to adhere the vellum to my page.

Check out the subtle detail in my pumpkin? Mia painted hers (middle picture) with green and fun Halloween colors, mine was painted with orange hued Gelatos!

I wanted some extra hints of purple on the page, a difficult color to come by in the scrappy world, so some washi (not Imaginisce) and Hot Rocks placed with my i-Rock did the trick! No treats here!

Supplies
Imaginisce: Patterned paper: Black Ice, Love You More, Childhood Memories, Good Dog; 5x7 card: Black Ice; Letter Stickers: Childhood Memories, i-Rock, Hot Rocks
Other: Vellum: PaperSource; Googlie Eyes: Michaels; Stamps: Lawn Fawn; Ink: VersaFine; Gelatos: Faber Castell; Adhesive: Xyron; Fonts: Bira, Cannibal; Washi: Michael's, Doodlebug
