In Remembrance ...

Throughout this week we want to remember those who have served and are serving our country and the many sacrifices that they have made.
So our designers have created both layouts & cards in honour of these individuals, friends, and/or family members.

Today design team member, Suzanna Lee shares this stunning card with us.

There is no job like that of our service men and women past and present who risk their lives daily for our protection. Men and women who serve with pride and honor. They deserve this day in recognition of the sacrifices that they have made personally and that their families have made for us. Thank you! This simple card is a small token of my thanks for all that you have done to keep us safe.

Sticking to the patriotic theme and colors, I pulled various patterned papers from various collections that had blue and red in them to create this card. I wanted to keep the visual simple as I wanted to keep the emphasis on my gratitude, the statement of thanks.

My stars and the bulk of the "content" of the card are actually on the inside of the card and seen through the three holes I cut with my Cameo in the cardstock.

Supplies
Imaginisce: Patterned Paper from Good Dog, Childhood Memories, Love You More and Makin' Waves
Other: Cardstock: Core'dinations; Die: Die-Versions; Stamp: Lawn Fawn; Ink: Prima Chalk; Buttons: Blumenthal; Mist: Tattered Angels; Twine: unknown; Other: Silhouette Cameo

The colors are so pretty. I love how the light blue sets off the traditional red, white and blue colors. The spatters are such a nice detail.
