Cards for Him & Her

We're back with a few more cards today to help inspire you as you create cards for your loved ones.

One for Him and One for Her

We all know that there are plenty of Valentine's options out there for the ladies.  But finding one for men that isn't frilly can be a challenge.  So I challenged myself to make one that would work for him and one that would work for her!  Let's start with the one for her!

This one came together pretty easily using lots of pink.  I stitched some straight(ish) lines onto white cardstock and then punched out a three hearts from that.  I also punched hearts out of my card base.   I put the stitched hearts behind the negative space of the base.  I then added one atop those two.  A die cut sentiment and arrow top off layers of pretty pink patterned paper and add to the feminine feel.

For my guy card I pulled out pieces from Perfect Vacation.  In one of the patterned papers there is a little part that says "You Are My World Forever."  Perfect.  So I opted to go for a more graphic card with a world theme to it.

I used some map patterned paper to back my hearts and even snuck some glitter tape onto the card.  An American Crafts Amy Tan rub-on makes up the city part of the card with some of my own doodling to bring it into other parts of the card.

Supply List:
Imaginisce: Patterned Papers (My Baby, Perfect Vacation)
American Crafts: Rub-on, Cardstock, Glitter Tape
