A Scraplifting Challenge

We gave our Design Team a challenge to scraplift another Imaginisce DT member's work.
They were simply to choose a project (i.e. layout, card, etc) and 'lift' it to create their own creation.
It's been fun to see what they've come up with and this week we are going to showcase their work.

"You are my World"

I'm going to be honest, this assignment was really hard for me! When I was going through everyone's blogs and checking out the Imaginisce pinterest page, I was so inspired by everything I was seeing...I had such a hard time picking a layout!
Finally, I found this layout by Suzanna, and I knew I wanted to try my hand at it..I normally scrap smaller photos, so I knew the large photo would be a challenge!

I loved how she framed in the photo, and kept the embellishing to a minimum. It made the photo really take center stage.

I die cut this sentiment from one of the Perfect Vacation pattern papers, and used it for my main embellishment cluster and it also works as my title.

Then I added the banners at the top as Suzanna had, to bring the embellishment back up to emphasize the "frame" around the photo.

While this was a way different style for me, I really love the way this layout came together! Thanks so much Suzanna for the inspiration!!!
