Get organized with this Darling Pencil Holder

We're back with another fabulous Back-to-school project!!
Check out this great idea!

Altered Straw Holder-Pencil Holder

I can't believe it's almost time to head back to school!  In just two short weeks my kids will be starting back up and my daughter will be a big second grader.  We recently got Lucy her own desk and she's a little unorganized!  So I thought for my post today I would make her a pencil holder to keep at her desk and try and help her along in that organization!

As I was going thru my cupboards recently, I came across a straw holder that we haven't used in years.  I knew that this would be perfect (and fun) for holding pencils!

I cut strips of patterned paper that were 2 X 9 inches and wrapped those around the glass container.  I then embellished the front with a 3D Sticker of a Princess that looks like my little girl!

The next step was to use my I Rock tool and attach some Sparkle!  At the top where there was just glass I attached hearts in a random fashion.  I then added some hearts above and below the 3D Sticker.

My last step was to add just some gems again making use of my I Rock tool.  I just added those above and below the 3D sticker to bring more attention to that.

Woulldn't this be a fun project to do for your little boy or girl or even a special teacher?  Little boys could be done using the Perfect Vacation line and be a perfect match!  Thanks for joining us today!

Supplies:
Imaginisce: Patterned Paper (Little Princess), 3 D Sticker (Little Princess), I Rock tool and I Rocks
American Crafts: Glitter Tape

Clever idea. Pencils are always getting lost in the clutter. Also a pretty decoration.

Now this is an awesome idea! I'm going to have to give these as gifts to my son's teachers.
