One day and counting and soon we'll be ringing in the New Year of 2014!

SO to help you celebrate we've got some super ideas to share with you.

Cheers Wine Bottle gift box

It's always good to show up with a bottle of wine for the hostess of a New Year's Eve party! But instead of just handing them a bottle why not make a gift box to make it look classy. And that's just what the Black Ice collection will do for your wine bottle gift!

Supplies Used - Imaginisce: Black Ice (pattern paper), Outdoor Adventure (pattern paper), I-Rock tool, Glam Rocks
Other: Silhouette, May Arts Ribbon, Bazzill cardstock

Guiseppa Gubler

I love that the Imaginisce collections have so many fun patterns and colors.  I can dig through my stash and find just what I need for any occasion.  I made these fun dimensional 2014 numbers as well as the "Happy" title using my Silhouette Cameo.  I dressed it up with some twine and silver trim and added these cute star pick.  So fun and perfect table decoration for the New Year!

Imaginisce Supplies: Patterned paper from the Colors of Christmas, Bushel O' Fall and Good Dog Collections

New Year’s Wish
Instead of a resolution this year I am going to make a New Year’s Wish!  I am making one of these little confetti packs for all my friends, we all get together on New Year’s Eve with our kids and have a big party.  Inside the confetti pack is a little journaling card for them to write down their New Years Wish for 2014.

Happy New Year – I wish all of you a wonderful 2014!

Christmas Countdown with Fleur Smith

Today, we have designer Fleur Smith sharing this incredible mini album.

The Adventures of Nick
Last year we had a surprise visitor at our house, an elf name Nick.  He was very mischievous and got into trouble every night when we were asleep.  I wanted to document his adventures and the Colors of Christmas collection was perfect for it.  I created a mini album and included a pocket page, a confetti page and different sized pages.

This was so fun to put together and my son has all ready asked if Nick will be coming back this year and flips through this album all the time.

His favorite memory was when Nick made him a breakfast of mini donuts.  I can’t wait to see what trouble he gets into this year.

Let's take a look now at some of the projects our Design Team have created.

Christmas Ornaments
Every year the kids and I make Christmas ornaments to send to family and for our tree – it’s a fun tradition that everyone loves.  This year I also wanted to recycle some ribbon holders I had kept and this collection had the perfect circular elements that fit perfectly on the ribbon holder.  I wrapped twine around it then added some die cuts and stickers to the front and back and added one of the sentiment die cuts to the string. They are so cute!

Christmas Tags
I love making the outside of the packages I give as pretty as possible, I also love making homemade tags for them.

For the top three I cut out a tag shape from patterned paper and added some fun die cuts and cut out embellishments.  For the bottom three I used the Die Cut Tags as the base, stamped the ornament stamp first on patterned paper and then on white cardstock and cut out the centre to add to customize them with people’s names.

Supplies: Patterned Paper, stickers, die cut tags, gems, stamps  and die cuts- Imaginisce Colors of Christmas collection, Twine – Divine Twine and The Twinery, Ribbon and ribbon holders recycled – American Crafts, Mini Spools – Maya Road, Pompoms and Cardstock – Michaels, Distress Ink - Ranger

Deck the Halls & Be Merry Layouts

I love Christmas collections that use bright, pretty colors so when I saw the Colors of Christmas collection, I was so thrilled! I created two layouts to (finally!) capture some fun Christmas memories from last year.

WIth the holidays fast approaching, I don't have a lot of time to scrap. So for my first layout, I kept things clean and simple. I used the patterned paper for some ready-made borders and pennants, which made things easy. With some of the cute die cuts and shiny jewels from the collection, I had a fresh layout for my son's scrapbook.

The second layout is a bit more involved, though again I let the patterned paper from the collection do the work for me. This was from Christmas day and so I had multiple photos that i wanted to use. The die cuts and jewels helped me out again!

Supplies used:

(patterned paper, jewels, die-cuts from Colors of Christmas collection) Imaginisce; (cardstock) American Crafts, Stampin' Up!; (date stamp) American Crafts); (circle punch) EK Success; (alpha die) Lifestyle Crafts

"Letter's to Santa"

Imaginisce always makes THE cutest Christmas collections and this one is just the best! I think the colors are just perfect!  I love the added peach and light blue colors along with the traditional red and green.  So very fun!

I love making clean and simple cards and the Snag 'em stamps are just so perfect for that.  I cut apart my snowflakes and randomly stamped them on my card.  I then added some clear bling using my I Rock to the centers.  Just because it is clean and simple doesn't mean it can't have a little bling!
