Cards for Veterans Day


Today, November 11th, we honor our military veterans.

This day is the anniversary of the signing of the Amistice that ended
World War 1 in 1918.
Also known as Remembrance Day, it is a day to remember the members of the armed forces who have died in the line of duty since World War 1.

There are many organizations that have been making & sending cards to soldiers who are serving our country right now. It's so uplifting for them to receive these notes of encouragement.

Today we’d like to share some cards with you that some members of our Design Team have created.


"Thanks"
Supplies used: Supplies: Patterned paper, diecuts: Imaginisce "Bon Voyage" collection, Cardstock: Colorbok, Thickers: American Crafts, Ink: Tsukineko, Ribbon: Michael's, Adhesive: Glue Arts.


"Thank You"

Supplies used: Imaginisce Bon Voyage Line - Postcards from afar and First class patt. paper; Destinations die cuts; Glitter glams, foam adhesive; Alphas - My Little Shoebox; Cardstock - Bazzill and Archiver's brand; Chalk ink - Colorbox, charcoal.


"Miss You Like Crazy"


Erin cut the stars in 3 parts and put colored foam adhesive (doubled up) under the center, between the first & second layer.
Supplies used: Cardstock - Bazzill; Patterned Paper - Imaginisce "Bon Voyage"; Ribbon - American Crafts; Silhouette Shapes: "miss you like crazy card" & "patriotic star three" ; Studs - Imaginisce irock; Stamp: Imaginisce Little Cuties; Adhesive: Imaginisce colored foam & ATG


"Thank you"

Supplies used: Imaginisce (Bon Voyage Collection, i-top & 22mm Punch and 1 brad daddy, i-rock tool & 3 mirror Glam Rocks, black Foam tape), Thank you sentiment (Bazill), Sending a Hug sentiment (American Crafts), Glue Glider Pro adhesive runner, Corner Chomper (We R Memory Keepers), Kraft cardstock (The Paper Company), Other: sewing machien, thread & hemp


"Thank You"

Supplies used: Imaginisce ('Incredible Journey" Bon Voyage papers), Bazzill Basics cardstock, 'Thank You' from the Simply Sweet Cartridge, Martha Steward glitter & stars from Hero Arts, Adhesive: Glue Arts

    I love the cards made for today. I really think that the soldiers need to know how much we appreciate their service.

    Beautiful cards and really love the idea of Veterans Day. We don't have that, but I think we definitely should. We also do have many people who give and risk their life for our freedom!
