One door closes as another opens!

Signing off...

Today's post is going to be rather bitter-sweet as it's going to be my last as design team co-ordinator, but also a time to celebrate and welcome our new Imaginisce design team co-ordinator.

I have loved every minute of my time looking after the Imaginisce team as they are an incredible group of extremely talented crafters, and behind the scenes they are a bunch of very humorous, caring and endearing women. There is always so much more to a design team than is ever revealed publicly and I can honestly say that this group has been nothing short of wonderful... so thankyou ladies for the fun times, the sad times and the good times!

I would also like to thank YOU... the Imaginisce friends and followers who have stopped by the blog and facebook leaving beautiful comments and words of encouragement to the team and such high praise for their work. I have read every single comment and felt such pride that we have been able to make a difference in your scrappy lives and adventures, providing inspiration and ideas to use the amazing products that Imaginisce has to offer.

My decision to step down as co-ordinator hasn't come easy and I've agonized over it for quite some time, but I knew that it was the right choice for myself and my family. The farmer is working harder and longer every day and the kids are growing up fast and are starting to require rides to basketball, swimming lessons, tennis etc and my health has changed dramatically over the last few months so the time has come...

Now, I'm leaving the team is excellent hands and couldn't be more excited and delighted to hand over the reigns to the beautiful and incredibly talented Cari Locken who is adored by the team and will be a wonderful co-ordinator for the remainder of this term and also for the new 2012 team.

So as a final farewell before I hand over to Cari who will finish the post... I would just like to say that although I'm standing down as co-ordinator, I will still be around for the next two months creating projects and just hangin' with the rest of the team. And to thankyou all once again for the support and kindness you've shown during my term.

Signing on...

Well, as Melinda has mentioned already this is a rather bittersweet moment. I have thoroughly and completely enjoyed having Melinda as our Design Team Co-ordinator and I'm sad that she is stepping down. I've got a big job ahead of me in filling her shoes!

She has encouraged our DT in so many ways that I can't even begin to tell you and she has challenged us with a variety of assignments each month. I'm so thankful to Imaginisce for bringing us together because I treasure her friendship deeply.

When I was asked to take over this position I was a little overwhelmed at the idea ... excited yes, but still overwhelmed (as it's no little task). But this group of talented scrapbookers is amazing to work with and I know we're going to have a blast these next 2 months finishing off the term. And the Imaginisce fans - yes, that's YOU, are always amazing and your comments on the blog are always encouraging to read.

I am honored and thrilled to head up this incredible team as we finish the 2011 term and I'm very excited about our new 2012 team as I've got some great & fabulous things planned. I thank you for your support this past year and hope you will continue to join Imaginisce when we carry on with our new talented group in 2012.
