July 4th Celebrations

Backyard BBQ's, celebrations with friends & family and watching the incredible fireworks at night are memories that many of us create during this holiday time.

A few of our Design Team members have created some stunning projects that help celebrate this special day and honor those who serve our country!

Today we have Regina & Guiseppa sharing projects with us.

To thank our hardworking and brave troops, I created a card using a postcard image trimmed from a sheet of patterned paper from the Bon Voyage collection. It worked out great that many of the colors turned out to be shades of red, white, and blue -- I love when I can use a collection for many different themes!

Supplies used: Patterned Paper: from Bon Voyage collection (Imaginisce), Cardstock: Crumb Cake (Stampin' Up!), Ink: Not Quite Navy (Stampin' Up!), Stamps: sentiment from Think Big Favorites #2 (PTI), Dies: Nesting Stars (Spellbinders), Fibers: Rope Twine (Canvas Corp)

I made these fun 4th of July firework treats simply by using toilet paper rolls. I covered the toilet paper rolls in tissue paper and then covered them again using papers from the Hello Cupcake Collection. I then filled them with candy, The fuse was made from floral wire that I painted gold. Finally, I tied them off with some twine and decorated them to look 4th of July festive. What a fun treat to give away on the 4th of July!

Supplies used: Imaginisce (Hello Cupcake Patterned paper, Hot Rocks, I-rock tool); Other: May Arts (trim), The Twinery (twine), Bazzill Basics (cardstock), Tissue paper, Flower Craft Wire, Candy
