We've got some more wonderful cards to share with you today
created by designer, Ilene Tell.

Sometimes it's really fun to add some unexpected elements to cards and other projects. On one of the cards, I used some pearls. I wanted ones that would stand out more than just the typical scrapbooking half-pearls.
And on the other card, I used a snowflake that was meant as an ornament. Due to the size and heavy glitter, as well as the rather thick dimension, it makes a great statement. Also, I love to either cut up or embellish the die-cuts.
For example, "Be Jolly" needed to be separated into two, and "Rejoice" needed some gold liquid pearls to embellish the candle-light.

Hey, I know that ornament snowflake. Funny thing is, I also used it on a card I posted on my blog a while ago. See http://marianne-cards-n-stuff.blogspot.gr/2012/10/snowflake-ornament.html.
