Girl's Headband
I love the versatility of Imaginisce products. I especially love the I-Top and how many things you can create with this wonderful tool. I decided to make a fabric headband. I covered the Button Daddies in fabric and sewed them onto these fabric roses I made. I then stitched the fabric flowers onto the headband. Super easy and super cute! A fun way to make a custom headband and isn't my model so adorable?
Imaginisce Supplies: I-Top, I-Bond, 22mm Button Daddies and 16mm Button Daddies
Other Supplies: fabric and elastic headband
I absolutely love using buttons on all my layouts, and the fun thing about Imaginisce i-top is you can make your buttons! I immediately wanted to showcase the full potential of this awesome tool on my layout, and show different ways to make your buttons unique! I first used the i-top to create a cute button of my daughter's face- I thought this was perfect, and tied in with the title of the layout nicely! Secondly, I am a sucker for twine- and thought wouldn't a twine button be neat on a layout! I played with a couple of ideas and came up with cute paper and twine buttons! You can learn to make them too, with a few easy steps. Lastly I wanted to use smaller buttons as part of my scalloped border at the bottom of my layout. I used the same patterned paper as the background sheet to give the border some dimension.
Imaginisce Products: Childhood Memories Paper, Childhood Memories Sticker sheets- Just be little & ABC Stickers, Small Button Daddies, Large Button Daddies, Paper Punches- Small and Large, i-top tool.
Other Products Used: Twine from the Twinery, Silhouette SD, Bazzill Cardstock, Martha Stewart Heart Punch
Here's a brief tutorial on how Jodi created the buttons on her adorable layout.
Step One: Gather your supplies: i-top tool, Paper Punches (I used the Large Punch), Twine and Tape.
Step Two: Turn the punched out piece to the side that you do not wish to see on your button and adhere the twine with tape.
Step Three: Begin to wrap the twine around each groove as shown. Work in one direction.
Step Four: Continue until all grooves have twine wrapped around them. Use tape to secure final piece.
Step Five: Use i-top as usual to create a fun new button! Also- don’t forget you can use photos as buttons too, as I did on my layout.
So ... are the wheels turning with ideas of what you could create using the i-top tool & buttons?
Well, maybe a GIVEAWAY would help.
We'd love to hear what you would create using the i-top tool and some accessories.
Just leave us a comment about what you'd create and you'll be automatically entered into the random drawing for an ...
i-top tool package!

Great ideas!! I have a wedding shower coming up to make decorations for. I think this would be great to make some photo buttons of the couple with!
Oddly enough, I have several i-Top accessories but no i-Top tool! I not only papercraft but sew and have used button-covering tools before but this one looks like the best I have seen. I would absolutely not only make covered buttons for sewing projects, but also make my own flair and hair bows for my girls...there's so much!
What a nifty tool. I have always just used markers or tapes to customize my buttons but this takes it to a new level.
I would love to make my own buttons!
I'd use the buttons as flower centers on my cards and layouts. Iris
Ohhhh, I LOVE i-top!! I like to use them as buttons and I also like to use the punched out pieces as flowers. Layer them up and they look beautiful.

I so neeeed the i-top, I have the i-rock and the ribbon cutter but I would use it to coordinate all the tags I like using on my cards with the proper brad without having to fumble to find a matching coloured one. I've also shared your competition on Facebook :) good luck everyone ! X Fab
I'd take pictures of my family and put them on buttons! I'd add them to bracelets, centers to flowers, on clothing, on my purse, cards...! I'd put them everywhere!

Awesome ladies. I have been coveting a iTop for several years now. I love buttons on my layouts but don't always have the perfect one, this way I can customize the way I like.

Well the first thing I woud like to try is what Jodi did with the baker's twine on her buttons. That is adorable. And an easy way to make the lines even and straight. I use buttons on about 90% of my layouts, cards or projects.
