Imaginisce & Xryon - Day 5

Well, we've come to our final day of our BLOG HOP with Xyron.  We have been so inspired by all of the incredible projects that we've seen this past week.  Now we just can't wait for Easter!
We've got one more day of inspiration to share with you so please join us & Xyron for our final day.

Easter Baskets

Easter in our house is all about filling cute little baskets with lots of goodies.  What better way to use some fun bright color paper and make your own baskets.  I used a cut file and cut out the basket shape from three coordinating colors and used pieces from each color to make these fun little baskets.  For projects like these you need a good strong adhesive and the Xyron Mega Runner was perfect.  See below for step by step instructions to make your own.

Check out Fleur's blog for a full tutorial & more great photos of these adorable little basketcs.

Supplies:
Patterned Paper and Stickers - Imaginisce Endless Summer, Childhood Memories and Good Dog Collections, Stamp - Imaginisce Childhood Memories Collection, Imaginisce I-top tool, Imaginisce Small Brad Daddies, Adhesive -  Xyron Mega runner, Ink - Versafine, Punch - Epiphany Crafts, Eggs - Color Fantastik and CTG Brands Inc., Pom poms - Michaels, Candy - Allan's, Typewrite - Smith Corona

Easter Napkin Rings

I love the Easter season! I enjoy making Easter bread and having family over to our house for meals.  I thought it would be a fun way to decorate our dinner table this year with some festive napkin rings. So I created some paper rings from patterned paper.  The accordion flowers & chickie were cut out with my Cricut and patterned paper. I added the little eyes using my i-rock tool and some small black Glam Rocks.

Hop on over to Cari's blog for more photos of her cute project.

Supplies used: Imaginisce (patterned papers from Childhood Memories & Good Dog collection; i-rock tool and small black Glam Rocks); Core'dinations Colorcore Cardstock, Xyron (Permanent Adhesive Glue Stick & Mega Runner); Cricut Expression 2, Ribbons & Rosettes Cartridge, Simply Charmed Cartridge

Table Centerpiece

I have always been a fan of Xyron and my new favorite adhesive is the Xyron Mega Runner.  It is so easy to use and works really well.  I used the Mega Runner to make an Easter Centerpiece.  I have a fun pinwheel die that I just couldn't wait to use and thought it would be the perfect thing for this project.  I chose several different papers from the Love You More collection to make the pinwheels.  For the pinwheel stems, I made paper straws by rolling the paper and using the Xyron runner.  I then stuck the paper straws to the back of the pinwheels.  The candy in the jar worked to anchor the pinwheels and viola!  A beautiful and fun centerpiece!

Make sure to stop by Apryl's blog for more photos & info of her beautiful centerpiece.

Supplies:  Imaginisce Love You More Collection, Xyron Mega Runner, Brads, Lifestyle Crafts Pinwheel die, pink tulle, mason jar.
