Rock it out! Day 1

This week we've have some super fun projects to share with you that some of our DT created using the i-rock tool and lots of bling! Now who doesn't love bling?! That added touch of sparkle can add a smile to just about anyone's face!

The i-rock tool is super fun & so easy to use.  It will rock your world!!

It adheres rhinestones & other gems to paper, ribbon, fabric and even furniture! No glue is needed ... therefore no messy clean-up. The i-rock uses 3 AA batteries.

It can be used with our Glam Rocks which come a wide assortment of colors & shapes; with the Compacts that include Crystals (in a multitude of colors) and Glitter Hot Rocks.

So would you like to see some projects?
Ok ... let's get rockin'!

"Bubble Fun"

I LOVE that the Childhood Memories collection has some “bubble” elements in it because I have so many pictures of my kids playing in bubbles! Who doesn’t? Playing in bubbles is such a fun part of being a kid!

For my layout I wanted to replicate all of the bubbles and all of the fun colors that are in my daughter’s bathing suit. I created 3 different types of bubbles. The first I used a small circle punch and punched out the medium sized bubbles from the patterned paper, the second type was made from gluing down twine in a circle, and the third is simply stamping with the Bubbles stamp.

I love that the Hot Rocks were the perfect touch for the shine on all the bubbles and they were so easy to apply!

Supplies Used: Imaginisce Childhood Memories (patterned papers, alphas sheet, sticker stackers, Bubbles stamp), Good Dog (patterned paper), Makin’ Waves (patterned paper), I-Rock tool, Glitter Hot Rocks, Jewel Hot Rocks, Lighted Tweezers
Other supplies: Bazzill cardstock, The Twinery twine, Elmers white pen, Silhouette Cameo

"Bad to the Bone"

Did you know the i-Rock can be used on more items than just paper? You can jazz up hats, shirts, etc ...  I decided to add some bling to my dog Satchel's new coat. He was so happy with it he could hardly sit still for me to take his picture :)

Some tips if you want to try this:
1. Make sure the fabric you are applying the gems to is heat resistant. You don't want to melt it.
2. You can create templates for shapes or words using your Cricut or Silhouette like I did.
3. Do not put your i-Rocked items in the dryer. This will loosen up the glue and the gems may fall off. Hang dry instead.
I hope you give it a try.

Supplies:  Imaginisce i-Rock, Hot Rocks compact (Pink, Black, and Clear assortment), Hot Rocks compact (Crystal assortment)

wow..I have never thought to use it on fabric! The I-Rock is so so cool...seeing as how I have two grandchildren coming into the world..I would use it on their clothes for sure. But..I'm a hard core scrapbooker, card maker so I would use it on those also..and oh my goodness I'm thinking of all kinds of things! You could use it on jeans, pocketbooks, even make your own glamed up pot holders! oh yeah!!

I'd use it on my cards, but if I had a dog with a coat (I only have cats, though), I would definitely bling it up like Marcia did. So cute!
