Bon Voyage Travel Mini Album
Now that summer is over, if you're like me you probably have a ton of vacation or "staycation" photos ready to be scrapped. Sometimes the hundreds of photos can be overwhelming when planning out layouts so when I'm in that situation, what I like to do is pick a few random photos that show off the highlights and put them in a mini album. I left more blank space than usual so that I have room to add ticket stubs and other little souveniers from our outings.
So, here's the "suitcase" mini I made. I blinged out the centers of the compasses and a few other elements with the i-rock and added more dimension using the i-top. Now I just need to insert my pictures and write the stories!
Thanks for stopping by! I'd love it if you'd share (in the comments below) any tips you have for scrapping the gazillions of summer photos you take.

Sour Cream Treat Containers

Do you want a fast and easy idea for Halloween Treats? After creating about 30 treats for my daughter's class last year, I wanted to create something fast and easy this year. This turned out to be so fun and easy that we're going to teach the whole class how to make their own "sour cream treat containers".
Supplies:
• 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” strips of various Spooky Town papers (papers shown here Boo Whooo?! #001764, Bestitched #001766)
• Spooky Town Chipboard Stickers #0001773
• Assorted Ribbon
Instructions:
Cut your papers to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" strips.

Add adhesive along both long sides and one short side.

Roll paper into a tube shape, so that the short side sticks opposite side to hold tube shape.

Pinch one end together so adhesive keeps shape,

Fill tube with candy. Then turn tube and pinch open end so that it is going a different direction as shown.

(Optional) Put each end through "crimper" and crimp about a half inch. Embellish with chipboard pieces & ribbon.
