Little Moments

We're wrapping up our baby themed week with this fabulous idea for a Mother's Note book.  What a great place to jot down your baby's milestones, etc.

Baby Notebook

Hello All Lanette, here I just wanted to stop in and share a quick little matchbook that is going to be part of a shower gift. I thought it would be a great addition for the mama to be to keep little notes of all the adorable moments on the go (so they don't get left out of the baby book).

Just a few details for fun.

On the back I added  a die cut with a little note.

Mama has a bunch of pages for quick little notes.

I added a bit of embossing powder to the heart for a bit more texture

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Happy Girl

Check out this adorable baby themed layout.

"Happy Girl"

Hello!  It's Tracy here with a layout using the My Baby collection.  I love the different patterns in this collection and the elephants!

These elephant die cuts are from the Die-Cut Cardstock Shapes pack.

I inked all of the edges with brown ink to tie everything together.  Don't forget to use the patterned strips at the bottom of each 12x12 sheet!  That is where all of the thinnest strips came from on this layout.

Another one of the adorable elephant die-cuts!

Soft & Sweet

Cards are always a perfect thing to create for baby shower gifts, thank you gifts, new parents, new grandparents, baby announcements, etc.

"Soft & Sweet" Baby Cards

Aimee with you here today to share some card inspiration. I absolutely love babies….their smell, their sweet little faces, and most of all their little toes. They really are a sweet little bundle of joy. The new My Baby collection is perfect to celebrate welcoming them into this world! I created 2 cards using the same layout (one for a girl, one for a boy). I used a simple approach to these cards so they would be easy to recreate.  I inked up the edges with some brown ink to match the brown in the sentiment. For the banners, I jazzed them up by applying some gold Hot Rocks and some twine bows. I also added some of the My Baby buttons for the finishing touch.

"Say Cheese"

We hope that you had a great weekend and we're thrilled that you've joined us again today.

This coming week we are continuing with our baby theme.  Our DT were welcome to use the new MY BABY release or some of our more recent collections to show you how those can be used for babies as well.

So let's get started.

"Say Cheese"

The new baby lines from Imaginisce aren't the only ones that can work great for baby layouts.  Today I am going to show you how I used the "Perfect Vacation" line to create a layout about my 10 month old.

Part of the reason I chose this line was the colors of my son's outfit.  The blue and red just screamed to be paired up with My Vacation.  I also knew I wanted to use the Polaroid Snag 'Em Stamp!

I stamped the polaroid imagine and then cut it out.  I then punched out 1 inch square pictures of my son and put them on the polaroid.  It was a fairly simply way to add both stamping and lots of pics to my layout!

As I was adding pieces I felt like I needed a round element and some red. The Itop tool was the perfect solution for that.  I punched out some red paper and made my own brads.

Supplies Used:
Imaginisce: Patterned Paper, 3 D Stickers, Stamp, Die Cut (Perfect Vacation), Stickers, Patterned Paper (Childhood Memories), Itop
American Crafts: Patterned Paper
