Cancun

Our Snag 'em Stamps come with each collection and there's so many fun designs to choose from. Plus they're so affordable!
Check out how DT member Stephanie used them on her layout!!

Hello! It's Stephanie, from paperANDi. I have another vacation layout to share with you, using Imaginisce's latest release, "Happy Traveler"!

I started out with a solid white base layered with a patterned paper from Imaginisce's "Happy Traveler" collection. I added a few stitches along my layout by using a sewing machine. Then, I splattered some ink around my page. I used a store bought doily template and applied textured paste to the template. I pulled the template out and allowed the paster to dry. I cut out smaller pieces of patterned papers and layered it behind my photo. Using clear stamps from Imaginisce's "Happy Traveler," collection, I colored and cut out the stamped images. Last, I added some puffy stickers and wood veneers to complete my layout.

I hope you enjoyed my vacation layout featuring Imaginisce's latest release, "Happy Traveler".

Supplies:
Imaginisce: Happy Traveler (patterned papers and puffy stickers). American Crafts: Heidi Swapp spray mist.

Stamping on eggs? Really?

Who likes decorating eggs at Easter?
Well, if so you will love this idea!!

'You Stamped an Egg?'
On a recent trip to the grocery store I noticed the Easter candy, decorations, and egg dye kits were being displayed and I had a "aha moment". A lightbulb lit up in my head. I wanted to try decorating my eggs with the adorable stamps from the Welcome Spring collection.

Stamping on eggs takes a light touch. Press too hard and your egg may crack. But think of the heads that will turn when they see your eggs! Give it a try with your kids too. I bet they would love to stamp on their eggs :)

I used all the stamps in the collection except the owl. I thought the owl was a bit too big for eggs. I also whipped up a couple egg holders using my Welcome Spring papers. These would look great on your Easter buffet table. My kids reaction when they saw my eggs...."Mom, you stamped an egg?  That's pretty cool!".

Instructions:
I used a dye based ink on my eggs. It dries fast and will not smudge off. Once the stamp was inked, I used my fingers to press it onto the egg, that way I could curve the stamp to fit the egg.

Hello Spring Frame

Creating home decor projects is a breeze with our Snag 'em Stamps.  Check out Amanda's project.

Hello Spring frame

It's finally starting to get nice in my area, starting to finally feel a little like spring. So, for my stamps assignment, I knew that I wanted to use the Welcome Spring line to make a cute décor item.
I kept it sweet and simple. By stamping the cute little butterfly on some patterned papers, I was able to make this have lots of fun color and pattern!

I am not a big stamper, I never seem to be able to get a clear image, but these snag'em stamps might just convert me! They stamp so beautifully, and you don't lose any of the detail!

'Fly' Layout

I have so many great photos of Emma jumping her horses and am always looking for ways to showcase them on a layout using different collections other than something horsey !!  Emma often says that when she is going over the jumps it feels like she is flying so this stamping challenge was PERFECT .....

I started with a full 12 x 12" piece of polka dot patterned paper (love this one) and layered a few more patterns to create a fun base for my picture.

I love the clear butterfly stamp that comes with this collection and used coordinating embossing powders to create (15) shapes that I precision cut to embellish around my photo.  I used American Crafts Thickers for my title and added a journal card and a few sparkly gems too ..... just because :))

Supplies:
  • Welcome Spring Patterned Papers: Hello Little Friend, Vintage Floral, Flutterbye, Spring Journaling
  • Welcome Spring: Bling Sheet, Butterfly Snag 'em Stamp
  • American Crafts Thickers, Dimensional Dots, white cardstock

All Occasion Card

I am sure I am just like many of you when I remember literally as I am running out the door that I need a card for where I am going .... a birthday, thank you or just because.  I like to create cards like this that are sweet and perfect for any occasion so I can grab them on the go !!

For this card I started with a solid white A2 card base and added a piece of pink diagonal stripe a 1/4 of an inch smaller to show a bit of white around the edge.  For the stamping on this card I used (2) different stamps and colors of ink and create my own 'patterned paper' on white cardstock as a base for the die cuts and ribbon.

I raised this piece with Dimensional Dots, wrapped ribbon around it and added a couple of die cut shapes.  It is ready to go for that last minute card I need .... probably soon :))

Supplies:
  • Welcome Spring Patterned Paper: Confetti
  • Welcome Spring embellishments: Dies Cuts Bunny Friends & Sunshine; Snag 'em Stamps: Song Bird & Owl
  • American Crafts Dimensional Dots, Zing Embossing powder, sheer ribbon

Have you ever try using clear/cling stamps and have the problem of accidentally pressing way too hard or smearing?!  FEAR NOT, Imaginisce "Snag'em Stamps" are here and you will NEVER have that problem, no matter how hard you press, because these stamps are so deeply etched that you just can't mess up! It's amazing!

I hope that you can really see how wonderfully made these stamps are and hoped that I was able to show you by capturing these pictures

Hello Little Friend

Stamping and embossing can be so much fun.  Check out Guiseppa's beautiful layout using this technique!

"Hello Little Friend"

Stamping always seems to be my weak spot, but when I say weak, I mean I am not very good at it.  When it comes to Imaginisce's Stamps...I think I do pretty good.  I love the deep impressions, making it hard to mess it up.

I decided to heat emboss my images using American Crafts Embossing Powder.  I love how my stamped images turned out.

I love the butterfly stamp from the Welcome Spring Collection and decided I wanted it all over my page, resulting in what you see here.

Thanks for stopping by.  Please share with us on Facebook how you use Imaginisce's Stamps!

Snag 'em Stamps

If you are an avid stamp lover than you already know about our darling stamps called Snag 'em Stamps.  With each new release we have a collection of stamps that match the designs of that collection.
Songbird Snag 'em Stamp
(from Welcome Spring collection)

You can see many of them in the Scrapbook.com store HERE.

We asked a few of our Design Team members to create some projects showcasing these fabulous little stamps. The possibilities are endless with these little beauties. To start us off this week is DT member Suzanna.

"Just Us Girls"

The Snag 'Em Stamps that accompany all of Imaginisce's collections are amazing! For a fraction of the cost of embellishments, you can make your own! And better yet, you can customize them! Make them whatever color you would like! I love the embellishments and dies cuts that come with each collection but sometimes, simplicity is best.

With the number of pictures that are on this page, I wanted some visual interest but nothing colorful enough that it would detract from the pictures.

Using the stamps was the ideal solution as it provided the complimentary embellishing with just a hint of colour.

It's that time of the year where we get ready for the next fun holiday.  Nothing is better than pulling out a scary book to get me excited about Halloween.  So I thought, how about some spooky bookmarks to go into those spooky books!  I made these bookmarks using the Snag 'Em Stamps from the Monster Mash Collection.  I decided instead of using ink I would heat emboss them and I am thrilled at how they turned out.  I love the glossy look heat embossing gives.

Here's a little tip that makes a lot of difference when stamping with clear stamps: lay a piece of foam or cloth under your project before stamping. This allows the paper to meet with all of the image and leaves you with a clean design! In coloring in my stamped images, I'm fond of using watercolor pencils or dye based markers (such as LePlume by Marvy).

Supplies: Monster Mash- Mummy, Sugar Skull and Eddie Snag 'Em Stamps; Spook Alley 12x12 Paper; Tricks & Treats 12x12; Fall Medley 12x12 Paper; Glam Rocks - Rhinestuds; Tools- i-rock LED Lighted Tweezers; i-rock; Big Shot and Lace Scalloped Die and Lollipop Font Die by Lifestyle Crafts

In keeping with the homespun feel of the kraft card I wanted to create a blanket stitch around the edging, but I didn't want to stitch directly onto the card. Instead, I took a piece of kraft paper and cut it to the size of the card front. I was then able to add the stitching without losing the effect that I was looking for! When adding the Hot Rocks to the stamped trees, I just followed the pattern of the dots from the Christmas Joy Paper ... nice, neat and easy!

Supplies: Christmas Cheer- Partridge & Pear Tree Snag 'em Stamp; Warm Wishes 12 x 12 Paper; Christmas Joy 12 x 12 Paper; Peace on Earth 5 x 12 Chipboard Sticker; Brad Daddies - Small; Hot Rocks Compact - Glitter; Tools- i-rock; i-top; Paper Punch - Small; i-rock LED LIghted Tweezers and i-rock Bling Pad

Product Spotlight - Snag 'em Stamps

These next few days are the "last scenes" & "final acts" of our Snag 'em Stamp spotlight and the curtain will be closing shortly. (I know ... that was a really pathetic pun!!)
What have you thought of the various projects that the DT has shared? Have you found some inspiration to get stamping? We sure hope so!!

Today we have Mary Ann Jenkins sharing a few projects with us.

*******

Today I have two cards to share using the "Monster Mash" Snag 'em stamps.

First up, Happy Harvest.

For this card, I stamped the pumpkin twice onto the orange patterned paper, and once onto the green patterned paper. I did a little fussy cutting just inside the stamped lines for the three pieces of the pumpkin, and stitched the pieces to my card. I also added a small piece of embroidery floss to the pumpkin.

For my Boo! vampire card, I stamped in black ink, then colored with a purple marker to match the fun bat paper. For the flag I cut a triangle shape, added the word Boo! that had been fussy cut from matching patterned paper and glued to a toothpick. I used my Cricut to cut out the circle opening from the front of the card, then added the cute vampire with a small piece of foam tape.

Supplies Used: Pumpkin & Eddie Snag 'em stamps, Celebrate You, Surfs Up, Pick of the Patch, Enchantments & Fall Medley patterned papers, embroidery floss, toothpick.

Thanks Mary Ann. This card is simply beautiful!

Why gift those goodies in plain bags?! Use stamps to customize treat bags for the little ones (or big ones) that love a great treat (or trick!). Make your Halloween a little sweeter with the Monster Mash collection and Snag 'em stamps.

Supplies: Imaginisce Monster Mash pattern paper, Snag 'em stamps; ribbon; Cameo machine and cut file; card stock; gel pens; Copics

It was a lot of fun using the "flower trio" stamp from the Sole Sisters collection right on the LO - stamping directly on the finished page gave the results a slightly messy, artsy look, which went perfectly with the ink splatters. I didn't leave as much to chance as it might look, though - since the stamps come with a little clear sheet of the actual image, you can use that sheet to decide exactly where you want the image to go. Before stamping right on the layout, test first on a scrap piece of paper. This way, you can be sure that the image comes out exactly as you want it, while still looking somewhat unplanned :)

Supplies: Paper: Imaginisce (Sole Sisters), Stamps: Snag 'Em Stamps (Sole Sisters: flower trio + jounraling spot), Stamping Block: Inkadinkado, Ink: Memento, Tools: I-Rock + Hot Rocks, Other Tools: Sewing Machine, Doily: Punky Sprouts, Foam Letters: American Crafts, Sticker Letters: October Afternoon, Marker: Sharpie, Color Spray: Maya Road, Other: lace trim, cardstock.

Thanks ladies.
These were fabulous projects and we hope that you've been inspired to do a bit of stamping on your next project!

We've got some more fabulous projects to share with you.
Last week we shared with you that our Design Team was challenged to use the Snag 'em Stamps and they will be sharing their creations

Our Snag 'em Stamps are 2" x 2" and there are variety of designs that match each of our collections. They are very cute and so easy to use. Just place them onto your acrylic block, ink it up and your ready to stamp!! Later you can fill in with colors using markers of your choice.

Today we have designer Regina Mangum sharing her work with us.

I adore the Snag 'Em Stamps! They are just the perfect size for cards and layouts, but I also love using them on gift and hostess projects, too. The darling stamps from the Christmas Cheer collection were just perfect to help me make some wineglass charms for the upcoming holidays.

I stamped and colored each image (adding a few Glam Rocks for the wee buttons on the gingerbread folk) and popped them up over some of the collection's patterned paper. These are an easy-to-make decorative accent that also help your guests remember which drink is theirs!

Supplies used:
Imaginisce patterned papers : Candy Cane Forest, Be Jolly, Happy Winter), Snag 'em Stamps (Gingerbread Boy,Gingerbread Girl, Reindeer), I-Rock Tool, I-Rock Glam Rocks; Fibers: ribbon (Stampin' Up!); Punch: Snowflake (Martha Stewart Crafts); Accents: Pearl Brads (generic)

What a super cute idea. Thanks Regina.
Join us again tomorrow for some more creative ideas.
