i-top: A New Way to Look at Fabrics
Welcome to our Guest Blogger: Kim HolmesI am always on the lookout for fun things to use to cover the i-top brads & magnets! I shop through rummage sales, recycling centers & thrift stores. The fun terrycloth swatches you see here are perfect – they were found at the local recycling center – the Creation Station. The pile of fun colored fabric? Those were cut from old t-shirts that were saved from the donation bag in our closet! The stretching material works perfectly and makes the brad nice & smooth! I have also saved tulle – netting – felt – and tissue paper from the garbage pile to use in my art.
