Featured Project: Name Badge Mini Album by Cindy

We are very excited to share this fun project that our talented Cindy Stevens created with our new Scooters Vacation Collection. And she created it with plastic name badge cases...read on to find out more!!

(Cindy Stevens) I made this mini to document some fun photos from a cruise that we took to Bermuda last Spring with a group of close friends. Since our vacation was so low key, I wanted to make a fun, little album that wasn't too fussy. I wanted something that was on the durable side, since I plan to leave it out and my 5 year old LOVES looking at pictures, so I know it will get handled lots.

How To: This mini is a super quick, easy and inexpensive project and the Scooter's Vacation line was fabulous for a fun, travel themed project. I used a pack of standard sized ID badges (this one had 6) I picked up at the local Dollar Store. I measured and made a template of my base pattern paper and then I used some diecut shapes that I had in my stash, traced them on the WRONG side of my pattern paper and then hand cut them. I then attached these to some of the pages for intrest. I used rubons a fair amount to help keep my album flat and streamlined BUT added some epoxy sticker accents on the outside of the badges to dress it up a bit more. I finished the album off by threading ribbon from the Scooter's Vacation line through the pre-punched holes and fastened.

Thanks Cindy!!
