It's in the Details: Paper Pierced Cards

The fabulous Melinda Spinks from down under sent us these darling cards made from Scooter's Vacation Collection. We asked her to explain how she made the fun patterns...read below.
(Melinda Spinks) When I made the first card using the adorable little scooter, I wanted to re-create the wind trail behind the scooter as seen on the printed papers. I placed my card over a cork-board and using my paper piercing tool, I poked little holes through the paper to create the design. It was so effective that I decided to make different patterns on each of the cards to co-ordinate with the individual theme.

very cute! I just seen something very similair someplace yesterday (can't remember where) where they done this with scrapbooking for borders and doodles and such. Thank you for showing another creative way to utilize this technique. I will be trying it for sure!
