i-space with Michelle Unruh

Hello everyone! Today, it is my turn to share with you where I create. My scrap room has played musical chairs so to speak. Originally, when we built our home, my space was a 4ft. banquet table in the corner of our den. Our oldest moved out (and back in for about 6 months) and I then took over her room and now have my own space again. It is still a work in progress. Trim work needs to be put around windows. Ceiling needs to be sprayed, but we are waiting until the whole basement is finished to have it all done at once.

Here is a view from the doorway. It is not a big room by any means, but it works.
I commandeered my kids Expedit from Ikea. Love that store! I also purchased my tables and chair there as well.
Here is where I keep my Cricut Expression, Slice machine and my old Sizzix guillotine die cutting machine. I have my Slice disks, extra blades and embossing tips in the wicker basket. The photo box under my Cricut houses my cartridges. I have the larger templates to my CM cutting system and other odds and ends in the Longaberger basket on the bottom.
I love my Expedit shelf! The bottom cubbies house my kits and my Imaginisce product. The small white boxes contain ribbon and misc. smaller embellies and scraps in the larger boxes. I keep my mists, stickles, chalk inks in trays. The white wicker baskets contain my flowers, rub ons, chipboard, alphas and stamps and inks. The top row of cubbies has things I have made and cards that have been sent to me. Hiding amongst the cards are my Starbucks bottles of buttons. I house my paper in vertical cropper hoppers in the closet along with my photos and other misc items.
This spring, I went out and bought a fishing tackle box to contain all of my Imaginisce tools and pieces for the i-top and all of my i-rock gems and i-bond glue sticks. I like that I can just pull out the container that has what I need and bring it to my desk.

There you have it. I hope you have enjoyed peeking into my scrap space. I am so grateful to have my own room to create in. I love seeing other scrap rooms. Leave a comment and link me to your space. I am curious to know if you print your own photos or send them out. And, what do you do, if you have any extra photos that didn't make it onto a page. I have so many extra photos.

I love your space. So neat and clean. I also Love Ikea. I print my own prices using a Canon Selphy. Pics that don't make it on a page usually get sent to my parents ore In-Laws. Here are some pics of my space, before I cleaned it, sorry.

I usually send my photos out---my printer prints too dark.

When I do a layout and I have extra photos I just slip them into 4x6 photos sleeves and put them in between my 2 pages of my layout.

Such a lovely studio, Michelle. Love your paint colour and all of your white furniture! Everything matches so well!! Hey, I just bought one of those shelves yesterday and DH is about to assemble it today!! Mine is just the single unit with 5 cubbies high. I am putting it in my family room to house albums. I finally have taken the albums out of my studio because things were getting cramped. I think I may need to buy a second one. The albums are stacking up!

I have a system for extra photos. I edit on i-photo and then get them developed at Costco. Ones that are not scrapped but I consider to be good photos go in a regular album. The last dregs are filed in a photo box organized by year.
