i-Space with Tiffany

Are you an organized scrapbooker?
Do you have a place for all your products & tools or
are you struggling with how to organize it all?

We hope to have a few ideas for you that will help you in this organizing process.

It's always fun to have a peek into someone's studio and crafty space and we're excited to bring our i-Space feature back to you this year. Our new Design Team members will be sharing their creative spaces with you throughout the year and whether you're in the midst of re-organizing your scrapbook room or just need a some new ideas for storage then we hope that you find inspiration from our designers spaces.

Today our designer, Tiffany Hood, is excited to share her space with you.
So, take it away Tiffany!

*****
I'm so excited to show you the place where I can go and relax and create. My space is a loft room that's about 450 square feet. My husband and I put the room together about a year ago and it was carefully designed to be organized and functional. There's a place for everything, and it's my dream craft room.

#1: The right side of the room is lined with desks, chairs and filing cabinets. My computer and printer are at the end, and the desk space is where I use my Cricut and Sihouette, cut vinyle and cut fabric. I have 6 chairs in this room and 6 desk spaces for friends to come over and craft with me!

#2: In the right corner is the sewing area. There are several cabinets with fabric and sewing supplies, and a large desk with plenty of room for large projects.

#3: This is the view when you enter the room. The walls are a soft blue color and the room's decorated with a soft French feel with touches of pink and a lot of black and white damask. The large white cabinet stores my stamps, albums and my kids' craft supplies. They are frequently in here with me being creative.

#4: The left wall has most of my storage. This is two Expedit bookcases from IKEA (most of the furniture is from IKEA) and two more desk spaces. Here is also where I keep my printed photos, Xyron, stamp inks, my Clip-It-Up, markers, and frequently used tools.

#5: The large white boxes are where I store items I want to keep from special events, birthday cards, etc. and each family member has one.

#6: Here's where I keep my Cricut Expression and inside the cabinet are my Cricut Cake, Your Story, and Big Shot and Epic 6 tools. the wall shelf is a Making Memories embellishment center and stores my flowers, buttons, glitter, glimmer mists, and other pretty embellishments. the blue frame is a clip frame. I got the idea from Heidi Swapp on My Craft Channel. I keep my design team schedules here to stay organized.

#7: These are Jetmax Cubes from Michaels and are perfect for my cardstock. My patterned paper is in another cabinet. The drawers hold my ribbon, misting supplies, Big Shot dies, embossing folders, Letterpress tools, and Imaginisce tools.

#8: Here's my newest addition to my room - my peg board. I love showing off the supplies of the companies I design for and having them on the wall also makes designing easier because I can see more at once.

#9: Here's my beautiful Imaginisce tools! Notice the new i-Magnicut Ribbon Cutter! Love it! I also keep my i-bond glue gun, i-rock mini iron, i-top and i-top supplies here.

#10: I found these clear divided boxes at Michaels that are perfect for my other Imaginisce tools.

#11: The dividers are re-positionable and in here are my i-rock and gems, lighted tweezers, and my d-Stress tool.

#12: In this box are my i-top daddies. All the toppers are together by size, and the bottoms are divided into types. I love this system. So easy to find what I need and it's all in one place. The large and extra large heads are also here.

#13: I have a thing for twine. Love it!

#14: And here's how I store my punches. These are actually kitchen storage rods from IKEA called "Bygel Rails". My border punches are in drawers but these styles of punches are perfect for these rails.

I hope that I could give you some ideas for storage and organization of your supplies.

I'm in the process of organizing my scrap space right now in preparation for tearing down wallpaper and painting so I can get some shelves and stuff hung up. Thanks for the inspirational photos! (Can I just have your scrap room? Ha!)

Very nice! I'm so jealous! What is the brand of your twine on the rolls? I've been looking for some.

What a lovely, roomy space. I'm envious.

Thank you for your nice comments. The twine on spools and cards is Doodlebug's Doodletwine, and The Twinery's twine is the middle row.
