Product Challenge - Day 4

Today we want to wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving.
We are so blessed and have so much to be thankful for.
W trust that you will enjoy being with your family & friends this holiday season.

*******

We've got another fabulous project to show you today.

created this stunning card using the iron on motifs.

"The Iron-On Motifs don't just have to be used for fabric, they can be used for paper, too.
I used the Mini Iron to iron the motif onto my cardstock,
and then hand-cut around the image to make a custom embellishment."

That bow is such a beautiful finishing touch isn't it?

Supplies: Imaginisce (Love You More collection, iron on motifs (Fleur de Bling), i-rock mini iron); Ribbon (May Arts); doily

Don't forget to join us tomorrow for our i-spy feature.

Love You More Release Party - Day 4

We've reached the last day of our Release party for the Love You More Collection and we hope that you've fallen in love with it.

Today we have a few more designers share their creations with us using this new collection.

I really loved the soft grey paper in this line, and the grey doily patterned sheet was just too pretty to pass up. I embellished it with some real doilies, and then, of course, I had to embellish the center doily with some sparkle and diamonds, with the help of my I-Rock. I love that this line is so versatile and works just as beautifully with my girly layouts of my daughter as it would with a Valentine's Day theme.

Supplies:
Paper, Stickers: Imaginisce (Love You More), Tools: Imaginisce (I-Rock, Glam Rocks), Foam Adhesive: Imaginisce, Flowers: Prima Marketing, Die Cutting Machine, Leaf Die: Sizzix (Big Shot), Chalk Ink: Tsukineko, Color Spray: Maya Road, Liquid Pearls: Ranger Industries, Other: doilies, cardstock.

XOXO

The combination of pink and grey in this collection was so easy to work with, and looked beautiful with black and white mixed in.

I added a lot of silver on this layout and it fit the color scheme really well also. This photo was taken on January 1st, so to go with the winter theme, I added snowflakes and icicles, as well as "snow" on the lamp. For the snow effect, simply dab some molding paste onto the top surfaces where the snow would pile on.

Supplies:
Paper, Buttons: Imaginisce (Love You More), Foam Adhesive: Imaginisce, Die Cutting Machine: Sizzix (Big Shot), Dies: My Favorite Things (Icicles, Snowflakes), Cheery Lynn Designs (Deco Corner), Tim Holtz (Lamp), Sizzix (Flowers), Molding Paste: Liquitex, Color Spray: Maya Road, Glitter Cardstock: Die Cuts With A View, Lace: American Crafts, Border Punch: Martha Stewart Crafts, Marker: American Crafts, Tools: Sewing Machine, Chalk Ink: Tsukineko, Other: cardstock, cheesecloth.

Adora Concepcion

The color combination and the prints make this a gorgeous collection. Pink, red and with a touch of grey are perfect together.

I used Brave Heart as the background of my layout and layered it with, Make a Wish and Be Mine papers. I then, embellished
the page with, Love Birds Sticker Sheetsbuttons and ribbons that goes well with my nieces' photos.

With the left over papers I used from my layout, I also created this, Be Mine card. I love how it turned out and it's fast and easy.

Supplies: Imaginisce (Love You More: papers, stickers); cardstock, trim

Let's Clicut with Tiffany!

Today we have Tiffany Hood sharing a project that she created using the Clicut.

*******

I've always wanted to make one of these "Tri Shutter Cards."  They're actually not complicated.  The Clicut and the i-Mat & CutRight Ruler make it easy!

Just cut a 5 1/2" x 12" piece of cardstock, then score in the shorter direction at 2", 4", 8" and 10".

Then you'll take your Clicut knife, and going in the longer direction, cut 1 1/2" from the left side from the 2" to the 10" mark. Repeat at 4" from the left side cutting from the 2" to the 10" mark.
Accordian fold the card and unfold.  Then re-fold the middle section in the opposite direction. (Google "Tri Shutter Card" or look it up on You Tube for a full tutorial)

Here's how the card looks when opened up.

Supplies:
Clicut Retractable Knife
14x14 i-Mat
CutRight Ruler
Cheers! 12x12 cardstock
Wish Big 12x12 cardstock
Celebrate You 12x12 cardstock
Let's Party 12x12 cardstock
Oh Happy Day Chipboard Stickers
Wish Come True Oversized Die Cuts
Brown Foam Tape

Thanks Tiffany.
This is super cute!

Design Team Challenge - Day 3

How many of you have created a non-traditional card or layout before??  I'm sure that many of you haven't. However, I'm sure that there are many of you out there that have - especially if you own a Cricut, Silhouette or other type of digital cutting machines.   These machines make cutting out a variety of shapes so easy & simple ... and fun!!!  The ideas are endless and really help with your creativity!

If you missed the last 2 days here on our blog let me just fill you in a wee bit.
The Design Team have been given a challenge to create a layout or card that has a non-traditional shape. So, no circles, squares, rectangles, etc. Not allowed!
They also had to use the color orange somewhere on their project and incorporate the use of the i-top tool.

Would you like to see some more ideas from our Design Team?  Ok ... let's get started.

This was definitely a fun challenge.  Monster Mash is probably my favorite Imaginisce collection this year, and I love any chance I can get to use it!  I used my Cricut and the "Happy Hauntings" cartridge to cut my tombstone card, and of course my I-Top brad maker and large I-Top brads to pop up the pumpkin.  The ghost is adhered inside the card peeking out, and the bat is adhered to the back of the card.

Pick of the Patch 12x12 Cardstock
Spook Alley 12x12 Cardstock

Product Spotlight - Snag 'em Stamps

Have you had a chance to use our Snag 'em stamps?

They come in a variety of designs that match each Imaginisce collection.
They contain a few of the images that are found on the patterned papers and sometimes a collection with have a few phrases or sayings.
As we mentioned yesterday our Design Team was given the challenge to use these stamps on their projects.
Today we have Tiffany sharing with us.

I love the versatility of using stamps. Here I stamped the images with Staz-On ink in Jet Black, and then watercolored them with a water based stamping ink. Coloring or painting stamped images reminds me of being a kid and coloring in my coloring books. I added some bling with my I-Rock and the Rhinestuds Hot Rocks in red and green. These tags will make anyone happy when they find them on their gifts on Christmas morning!

Supplies: Imaginisce patterned papers : Snowdrift, Candy Cane Forest, Christmas Joy, Be Jolly, Happy Winter, Warm Wishes), Snag 'em Stamps (Candle Tree, Gingerbread Boy,Gingerbread Girl, Partridge & Pear Tree, Reindeer, Snowflake), Gift Giving Sticker Stacker, I-Rock Tool, I-Rock Hot Rocks Compact (Rhinestuds)

Monster Mash Release Week 2 - Day 4

We're nearing the end of our Monster Mash release week and we hope you've been inspired.

As you will have noticed this collection is Halloween themed but there are also embellishments that will allow you to create 'fall' themed layouts and projects as you will see in today's projects.

*******

Tiffany Hood

Monster Mash is one of my favorite Imaginisce collections ever! I love Halloween, and I had a lot of fun playing with these cute characters. For my layout I used the pumpkins and leaves and made a fall themed layout about my children going to pick out their pumpkins. I used the die cuts and chipboard stickers for dimension and then added a bit of Canvas Corp burlap for texture.

My second project is a wall hanging that I made because I wanted to create something that used all the cute new Imaginisce Halloween characters. I think they're just darling. I'm excited to display these guys on my wall for Halloween.

I bought wood squares that already had routed edges and I painted them purple. I cut background paper to fit the squares and Mod-Podged them onto the front. I added the cute characters using Imaginisce dimensional foam adhesive. Then I hot glued a long ribbon to the backs of the squares using the I-Bond glue gun and tied lots of bright ribbons to it. To top it off, I used the I-Rock to add glam rocks to the characters.

Thank you so much Tiffany for sharing your creations with us today.
That door hanger is just darling!

Back to School - Day 3

It's Day 3 of our "Back to School" week and we hope that you've been enjoying the projects that our Design Team have been sharing with you.

Today we have some great gift ideas for teachers to share with you so let's get started.

*******

Tiffany Hood

I love the "Geek Is Chic" collection, so I was excited to use it to make a gift for my son's school teacher this year.

I made the magnets using clear pebbles from the floral section of the craft store, crystal effects, and black round magnets, and I made the wood base for the magnet board with Mod Podge and a 2x4. The metal sheet was bought at the hardware store, cut, and the edges rounded. You can also pick these up at some craft store already made.

The black glue sticks and the Imaginisce I-Bond cordless hot glue gun were perfect for the magnets. I'll have a full step-by-step tutorial on my blog on how I made this project.

Supplies:
Imaginisce I-Bond Cordless Glue Gun
Imaginisce Color Mini Glue Sticks- pink, black, white, brown assortment
Geek Is Chic 12x12 glossy cardstock- School Days
Geek Is Chic 12x12 glossy cardstock- Chalk Talk
Ribbon by May Arts

Ro Philippsen

For this desk organizer I used a small wooden box, where I painted only the edges with gesso.
After the gesso was completely dry, I started to glue the Imagisce Collection perfect for this Project: "Hello, Cupacke". first inside the box, and then out of the box.

This box can either be given as a gift to the teacher, or can serve as a desk organizer for the student.
I just filled it with candy and some of tags with pencil, but can be kept several things in it.

Birthday Hooray! 12x12 Paper
Party Time 12x12 Paper
Let's Party 12x12 Paper
