Easter Layouts

With the Easter holiday quickly approaching we thought it would be fun to share some Easter ideas with you.

Today a few of our Design Team members would like to share some Easter themed layouts to help inspire you & give you ideas on how to use your Easter photos (ie. coloring eggs, easter baking, egg hunting, easter services, etc.)

"My Easter layout includes mostly papers and die-cuts from the Hippity Hop collection, but I added a few Makin' Waves papers also. Just a simple sketch layout with lots of spring friends, bloom and doodles surrounding this sweet Easter portrait of my niece."

"For my easter layout, I used the Hippity Hop line (of course) and punched large circles of various patterns as my background. I wanted to take the 'egg' theme even further so I drew and cut out a large egg shape for my photos, journaling and title to sit on. To make the large egg stand our a bit more, I hand stitched around the outside. I used the metal i-rocks sprinkled here & there to mimic eggs hidden around the house."

"When creating themed layouts, I love making little scenes. What I really love about the Hippity Hop collection is that it is perfect for creating cute scenes. With the help of my Silhouette and the Hippity Hop collection I made this fun Easter layout to treasure for many years to come."

"I really wanted to scrapbook these photos of our yummy Easter cupcakes and when I found the bird themed papers and embellishments in the Hippity Hop collection I just knew that they would be perfect for these pictures (and of course my yummy treats - Mini Eggs!)"

"I used the darling Hippity Hop collection to create a layout about an Easter when my kids were younger. I love the colors and the die-cuts in this collection. I also used some Core'dinatnions cardstock for some additional embellishments."

The pictures I'll be scrapping this Easter will be of my husband and I in Washington D.C. for the Cherry Blossom Festival. That's how we're celebrating our 3-day holiday weekend. We might not see the blossoms as they've already peaked in their bloom, but there's lots of other stuff to take pictures of!

It'll be an activity filled weekend! I'll be decorating and filling up baskets and eggs tonight. Saturday, I'm taking the girls to the zoo for an Easter egg hunt. And later that day, we'll be dying/decorating eggs for our family Easter dinner on Sunday. There'll be plenty of opportunities for photos to be taken! Phew, I'm already tired! :D And yay to spring break!
