Throughout this week as we share our projects with you Canvas Corp will also be sharing projects on their blog as well. So please make sure to check them out!
Now let's see what some of the DT members have created.
Greetings! I was lucky to receive one of my favorite home decor crafty items, a 7 Gypsies artist's tray from Canvas Corp. This style is a new configuration for me and the soft chocolate color made me immediately reach for my Bon Voyage collection from Imaginisce
This is going to be a gift for my husband. These are photos of him taken on his favorite trail back home. When we were visiting last fall I made sure to take a few shots and I'm glad that I did. Since they were distant images they really worked well to fit into this tray!
Supplies used: Imaginisce (Bon Voyage collection: papers, canvas stickers, sticker stackers and die cuts; i-rock tool, Hot Rock Crystal Compact, Foam Tape & POGO adhesives); Canvas Corp (7 Gypsies Artist Tray, Hemp, Bakers Twine); Adhesive (Glue Glider Pro by Glue Arts); Ink (Ranger)
I wanted to make a couple of cards to give to kids who have summer birthdays (typically paired with a pool party). I loved the long skinny cards we got from Canvas Corp, and the Tattered Angel Glimmer Mists. I thought they would make a great pair.
The black hemp cord added the perfect accent to bring out the bright colors from the Imaginisce papers and stickers that I used.
Boy Card
Supplies used: Imaginisce (Makin' Waves collection (Canvas Stickers), i-top tool, small brad daddies); Canvas Corp ("Skinny Cards" 4x9", burlap star, black cord, Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist); Other: Lace (Kaisercraft), Letter stickers (My Little Shoebox), Mask (Crafter's Workshop), Border punch (Martha Steward Crafts), ink (Cat's Eye Liquid Chalk
Girl Card
Supplies used: Imaginisce (Makin' Waves & Berrylicious: canvas stickers, i-rock tool, I-rock Glitter Heat-Set Studs); Canvas Corp ("Skinny Cards" 4x9" paper, black cord, Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist); Other: lace (Prima Marketing), Letter stickers (My Little Shoebox), Maks (Crafter's Workshop), Ink (Cat's Eye Liquid Chalk)
Headband
My daughter is in a "the bigger, the better" headband phase so I knew she'd love the gorgeous canvas flower for a headband. It was very easy to put together. I punched a small hole through the large flower, then paired it with a smaller sheer flower from Imaginisce, and added it to the headband, attaching with a large twist-daddy top that I covered with Imaginisce paper. I then cut the center out of an iron-on flower, and ironed it onto the middle.
Supplies used: Imaginisce (silk flower, i-top 2.0 tool, i-top Twist Daddy Headband & Large Twist Daddy, Makin' Waves paper, I-rock Iron-on rhinestone Flower and mini iron); Canvas Corp (canvas flower); Other: hole punch
#1: "Owl Bag"
I folded the 12x12 Burlap Sheet in half and simply freehand cut the owl shape!
I used the Roly Rosies (Denim) and the i-top brad daddies to create the eyes.
Supplies used: Imaginisce (i-rock tool, i-rock Hot Rocks & Glam Rocks, Iron-on motif, Sole Sisters tag, Fabric Roly Rosies (denim); small brad daddies, XL brad daddies, Hybrid Petal Roller, i-rock Mini Iron, i-top 2.0 tool and topper templates); Canvas Corp (Canvas Flat Tote; Canvas Red Flower, Canvas Minis (star), Mini Clothespins (red); jute, burlap sheet, burlap minis (star), Tattered Angels Mist (Be Mine), Canvas); Miscellaneous (Buttons, baker's twine and fabric)
#2: "Best Friends" Container
Shellye used a card shape to create this darling container. Here's a quick run-down of what she did to create it.
Open card: score at 2 inches on each side of fold: fold to resemble a sour cream container ... more details on her blog.
Supplies used: Imaginisce (Sole Sisters papers, chipboard stickers & Die-cuts, i-rock glitter gems, POGO adhesive and i-rock tool); Canvas Corp (Zebra Striped Skinny Card, Black & white Baker's Twine)
