Day 4

Thanks again for joining us today!
If you missed the first 3 days of our blog swap with Canvas Corp this week please make sure to check them out.

Sadly ... today is our last day of the fun & fabulous swap.
But don't dismay ...
we still have a few more awesome projects to share with you today!

This project was a lot of fun to make. I love this printer's tray by 7 Gypsies for Canvas Corp. It's a fun way to create home decor.
For this project I used the Happy Harvest collection by Imaginisce, as well as many different products by Canvas Corp.

I cut their 12x12 burlap page into smaller pieces for some of the sections, and I used one of their great canvas tags under the "fall" chipboard piece. I also used their fun mini clothespins in red & green, several types of twine, thread and string, and the waxed cord in red for the corn.

I think Happy Harvest and these items from Canvas Corp were made to go together!

Supplies used: Imaginisce (Happy Harvest collection); Canvas Corp (7 Gypsies printer's tray, canvas page, canvas tags, mini clothespins (red & green), twine, thread, string, waxed corn (red)

I made this sweet little shadowbox for my Mom. Growing up, Gene Autry was the "singing cowboy movie star" that everyone loved! My Mom still likes to tell the story about the day she and her sister got to meet him and have their picture taken with him. This is such a treasured picture to her, I knew she would love this remembrance of that day back in 1940.

To start, I gave the shadowbox a light coat of white paint. After it dried, I sanded it just a bit so some of the original brown color would show through. I cut the burlap square to fit, and hot glued it inside the shadowbox. Next I stitched around both canvas stars with embroidery floss. I then added the red canvas flower, a canvas star, a denim roly rosie and an i-top button covered with burlap. I hot glued the rope and the other canvas star before adding the photo. I finished by adding journaling strips.

Supplies used: Imaginisce (Denim Roly Roises, i-top 2.0 tool, i-top button); Canvas Corp (Shadowbox, canvas stars, burlap square, red canvas flower, rope); Other: white paint, sand paper, hot glue, embroidery floss

I used the 12x12 canvas Fabricpage to create a layout about my son's favorite zoo animals. I love the rustic look and paired it with some patterned paper from the Happy Harvest collection for my color scheme and page title, which on some Canvas Corp burlap. After spritzing some color on canvas, I made some fun canvas brads with the i-top tool, accented my photos with colored gems and the i-rock and 'stitched' with some Canvas Cord!

Supplies used: Imaginisce (Happy Harvest collection, Metallic Hot Rocks, Brad Daddies, i-rock tool, d-stress, i-top 2.0); Canvas Corp (canvas cord, canvas Fabricpage, canvas tags, Burlap, Red Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist); Other: large eyelets (Making Memories), Crop-a-dile, dies (alphabet - Papertrey Ink), Cardstock (Stampin'Up)
