Tool Extravaganza - Ilene

We love the i-rock and today Ilene Tell is going to share some
creative projects with this tool.
When we were asked to create two projects using any Imaginisce tool, I decided it would be fun to the use I-Rock to make a couple masculine creations. When I think of the I-Rock, I always think of crystals and bling and pink, frilly things. But the I-Rock also comes with a lot of metal studs that you can buy to use it with - silver, gold, glittered metal, white, and many things in between. And I think the metal can add a very masculine touch to any project. They're also my favorite thing to use with the I-Rock because they actually heat up and set faster than the crystals - once I had the tool heated, I would literally hold it down for a couple seconds before moving on to the next stud. So even though you can see I used a lot of studs on both of my projects, once I had the studs placed where I wanted them, heat-setting them was actually a pretty quick step. And of course, Father's day is coming up, so I just had to make a card for my husband - this will be from myself and our two kids :)

I would be happy for the bag as my gift! :) AND your father's day card is super cute how you have 3 hearts representing the '3' of you, plus the zipper and etc. Super great job---thank you for sharing and for allowing me to glean from you:) be blessed

I have a birthday party coming up for a soon to be 9 yr old, that is such a cute bag I might need to lift that idea

Great card and gift bag. The metal studs give the projects a masculine touch with out the heaviness of using brads and all the work of punching all the holes like you need with brads as well. Great idea!
Thanks for sharing! :)
