Everyday Inspiration - Day 3

It's Day 3 of our Everyday Feature. Welcome Back!

So, ... what have you been inspired by lately?
The coffee mug you use everyday?
The comforter on your bed?
The clothing ad in your favorite magazine?
Whatever it is that catches your eye you can use bits & pieces of that to help you with your next creation whether it be the colors, the basic design or even the textures.

Let's take a look at some more projects that our Design Team girls have created.

*******

Like a lot of crafty people, I love to look around for inspiration for my projects. I usually find a lot of inspiration online. Now, I have discovered Pinterest...whether that's good or bad, I don't know. Lately, it has been my favorite place to look. One of my favorite boards (besides the crafty ones) is the jewelry. I have always been drawn to jewelry, so when I saw this amazing necklace, I knew I wanted to create my Everyday Inspiration project from it.

I love the flowers on this necklace and how they are all clustered together. So, I decided to make some of my own and clustered them on the layout.

There is also a little bit of bling on this necklace so I added some to my project as well. I used the I-Rock and Hot Rocks along with the stencil kit to create these blingy flowers. They remind me of the flowers on the necklace.

As an added touch, I added the flower doily, cut from my Silhouette, to help give the page a little more of a vintage feel since the necklace looks vintage itself.

Finally, the picture! Do you recognize some of these pretty ladies? Yep...some amazing girls form the Imaginisce Design Team!

Supplies: Imaginisce (Making Waves Patterned Paper, Hello Cupcake Patterned Paper, Fabric Roly Rosies, Paper Roly Rosies, Petal Roller, I-Rock, I-Rock Stencil, Hot Rocks, Glam Rocks, Bitty Blossoms, Cupcake Flowers)

My inspiration for todays project was this tapestry from India that hangs on my bedroom wall. I love the combination of elements together.

What I created is an oversize card for one of my nieces birthday. Perfect way to use my Imaginisce paper scraps. It's an 8X8 wall hanging card. I ripped pieces of paper to create the background. Then I embellished it with punch out butterflies and the birthday message die cuts.

Supplies: Imaginisce Papers; Sole Sisters; Personality, I pick you, Sole Mates, Girl Stuff; Fabric Roly Rosies Denim and Hello Cupcake Wish Come True Die Cuts.
Other supplies; Martha Stewart Butterfly punch.

You know those days when the sky is gray and chocolate seems to have no taste?
Maybe you just need a nice pair of high heels and lipstick to feel better & beautiful!

This was my inspiration for my Everyday Inspiration project.

... and here is a card that I created from my inspiration.

Supplies: Imaginisce (Sole Sisters collection: Purse-onality & Girl Stuff patterned papers, Girly Girl Sticker Stacker, Picture This Canvas Sticker)

This collection is gorgeous! I enjoy the classic Christmas look of it, and the big eyes of the stamps (SO cute!). The design team did an amazing job (as always). My favorite inspiration was the jewelry and Guiseppa Gubler did a wonderful job portraying its beauty in her work.
