Share-a-Card - Day 3

So have we got you in the mood for making Christmas/Holiday cards yet?

Wouldn't you like to take part in this fabulous project?  I'm sure that Share-a-card would love to have you participate and mail off your cards to them.

Today we have a few more of our Design Team members sharing their cards that they've created for the Share-a-Card Holiday Card Project.

Let's see what they've created!

Santa Joy Card
It's easy to create your own banner by using this simple method:
1- Decide how wide you want the top of your banner to be
2- Decide how tall you want your banner to be3- Using those two dimensions (mine were 1"W x 1.25"H) cut a square of that size4- Divide the width in half and make a mark in the middle (bottom of square)5-Using a straight edge, draw a line from each top side to the mark at the bottom; cut
This may seem a little elementary, but when you have a limited space (such as a card front) it helps to keep
the banner tops from being too wide :)  Tying a bow of baker's twine to one side gives the appearance that the banner
has actually been strung across the card.

Bell Card
Large die-cuts from any Imaginisce Collection are simply perfect for making cards!  I like to add that little 'extra', so I often
remove small accents from the Sticker Stackers and layer them with a larger element...perfect.  And when setting out to make a bundle of the same card, use your home computer and printer to easily create a row of sentiments.

Hi there!  I was so excited that the gals here at Imaginisce are partnering up with such a great organization!  I created two cards, one pretty clean and simple and another featuring our Snag 'em Stamps with our Christmas Cheer Collection.

I loved the elegant look of the embossed white against the red card stock, so I used it and a cute die and layered with a bit of foam tape.  I accented the "Ho Ho Ho" with a bit of bling with my iRock.

For my next card, I used our Rudolph Snag 'Em stamp for inspiration, colored and cut him out and layered with a few other elements.  I punched a snowflake from my little folder tab die for some negative space interest and layered a white punched snowflake on top.  I really had fun creating these cards and hope that you'll join us in supporting Share - A - Card!

Supplies:  Christmas Cheer Papers, Chipboard and Sticker Stacker, iRock, Glam Rocks Pogo and Foam Tape by Imaginisce, Red and White Cardstock by Bazzill, Burst die by Memory Works, Fishtail die by MFT, Tab die by Lifestyle Crafts, Cheery Lynn Border die, Scallop border punch by Fiskars, Embossing plate by Spellbinders, Snowflake punches by Martha Stewart, Big Shot by Sizzix, Copics, Memento Ink, Sentiment stamp by Hero Arts, Ribbon by May Arts.
