Christmas Cards with Ilene

We've got some more wonderful cards to share with you today
created by designer, Ilene Tell.

***********

Sometimes it's really fun to add some unexpected elements to cards and other projects. On one of the cards, I used some pearls. I wanted ones that would stand out more than just the typical scrapbooking half-pearls.

Supplies: Paper, Stickers, Die-Cuts: Imaginisce (Christmas Cheer), Ink: Tsukineko, Flowers: Prima Marketing, Liquid Pearls: Ranger Industries, Cardstock: My Favorite Things, Other: jewelry faux pearls.

And on the other card, I used a snowflake that was meant as an ornament. Due to the size and heavy glitter, as well as the rather thick dimension, it makes a great statement. Also, I love to either cut up or embellish the die-cuts.
For example, "Be Jolly" needed to be separated into two, and "Rejoice" needed some gold liquid pearls to embellish the candle-light.

Supplies: Paper, Die-Cuts: Imaginisce (Christmas Cheer), Ink: Tsukineko, Other: snowflake ornament, cardstock.

Hey, I know that ornament snowflake. Funny thing is, I also used it on a card I posted on my blog a while ago. See http://marianne-cards-n-stuff.blogspot.gr/2012/10/snowflake-ornament.html.
Also love the first card.
