Endless Summer - Day 2

Welcome to our second day of our Release Party for this super fun new summer themed collection, Endless Summer.

This Sticker Stackers in this release are super cute.

BBQ 5x7

Lazy Days 5 x12

When you think of summer-time what do you think of?
BBQ's, picnics, pool parties, and just hanging out right?

Well, that's exactly the ideas that our DT have come up with too.
Let's take a look at their creations today.

“Hooray For Summer”

I love the fun bright colors of the Endless Summer Collection! I especially love that they are the perfect colors to bring out the colors in my summer fun photos. For my layout, I chose to document a day on the lake which is pretty much what our summers are like. Some sporadically placed photos, some Endless Summer chipboard pieces, some Sticker Stacker pieces, and some Glam Rocks and you’ve got the perfect summer layout!

Supplies Used: Imaginisce Endless Summer (patterned papers, Sticker Stackers, Die Cuts, Chipboard Stickers), I-Rock tool, Hot Rocks, Glam Rocks, Lighted Tweezers, Foam Tape
Other supplies: The Twinery twine, Sakura white pen, Mr. Huey Mist, Maya Road Mist, Silhouette Cameo

“Summer Lovin Mini”

When I saw the Endless Summer collection I knew I wanted to document our Summer of 2012! And what better way to document the highlights of the summer than to make a mini album! I chose this flip-flop mini shaped album which I feel is a great summer icon. And there are so many great pieces to the Endless Summer collection for each event like the sun (of course!!), B-B-Q foods, water, ice cream, and the oh-so-yummy watermelon! I’m already waiting impatiently for this summer!!

Supplies Used: Imaginisce Endless Summer (patterned papers, Sticker Stackers, Die Cuts, Chipboard Stickers, Snag ‘Em stamps), Childhood Memories (alphas), I-Rock tool, Hot Rocks, Glam Rocks, Lighted Tweezers, Foam Tape, Offray ribbon
Other supplies: Sakura white pen, Silhouette Cameo

"Hooray For Summer"

This new Endless Summer collection has be chopping at the bit for summer to arrive!  The colors are so bright and cheery!   I loved this paper with the sun rays on it, I knew exactly what I wanted to create with it!

This I added some white paint to the top of the paper to soften the paper and then I popped some bright orange thread in my sewing machine and stitched along the rays to make them pop.

I cut the hexagon using my Cameo and then I topped off all the space in my photo with the Hooray For Summer die cut!  Lastly, because I love my i-Rock I added some bling!

Supplies:   Paper - Endless Summer Collection
Embellishments - Endless Summer Die cuts, Glam Rocks
Toos - i-Rock, Cameo, Punch
Other - Foam Tape

"Cheers"

I love it when I hear people say 'pop' as in soda pop - its make its seem so nostalgic.  I had the very same thought when I saw the cute little bottle stamp in the Endless Summer collection!
I created this card knowing I wanted to use the stamp and then I remembered that versa mark ink gives it a nice water stain image, that is how I created the back ground for this card.
This card is meant for an up coming kids birthday so I wanted it to be bright and fun!  I think its going to accompany a cute pack of root beer and orange soda!

Supplies:  Paper - Endless Summer Collection
Embellishments - Twine, Button, Washi Tape, Bottle Stamp
Toos - Punch
Other - Vera Mark Ink, Liquid Glue, Adhesive, Foam Tape

 "Hot Summer Days"

As soon as I saw the sunburst paper in this new collection I immediately fell in love with it, so bright and fun.  I cut out the rays and folded up the edges to add some dimension then reattached them in the same order coming from the top corner.  To add some texture I added some stitching as a border around the rays.  The fun stickers and die cuts in this collection are perfect for all my summer pages and adds the perfect finishing touch to any layout.

Supplies: Patterned Paper, Die Cuts, Stickers and Chipboard Stickers - Imaginisce Endless Summer collection, Imaginisce CutRight - Quilting and Sewing Ruler, Imaginisce Colored Foam Tape, Other: Cardstock – Core’dinations, Typewriter – Smith-Corona, Thread – DMC.

"BBQ Party Set"

I really loved the BBQ theme papers and die cuts in this collection as well, perfect for your next BBQ party.  I created an invitation, some potato chip containers, cutlery holders, pop wraps and some fun watermelon rosettes.  This collection is sure to make your next party a big hit.

Supplies: Patterned Paper, Stickers and Stamps - Imaginisce Endless Summer collection, Other: Cardstock – Core’dinations, Twine – The Twinery, Die Cut Machine and cut file – Silhouette Cameo, Typewriter – Smith-Corona, Punch – Epiphany Crafts, Scoreboard – Martha Stewart, Paper Straws and Kraft Bags – Essential Packaging, Pop – Jones Soda, Ink – Versafine, Markers - Zig.

I'm stunned!!! I just love love the projects today!!!

My very favorite activity any time of the year is sitting quietly in one of our pastures watching the cattle. In the summer it is early morning as 100 plus degree heat in the afternoon is time for scrapping. If I stay slightly hidden and quiet I often get treated to wildlife: deer, skunks, wild hog, cottontails, jack rabbits, and abundance of birds. Pure heaven for me!

It's so darn hot where I live in the summer! My favorite activity is staying inside! I will occasionally venture to the pool with the kiddoes but mostly it's indoors until fall for me...We usually go and do things like museums and other things in the cool rather than doing outdoor activities.
