Endless Summer Release Party - Day 1

We're excited about this summer collection and we know that you'll be inspired by all of the wonderful projects that you will see this coming week.
So, ... welcome to the first day of our release party for Endless Summer!

This collection has a wonderful selection of double sided 12x12 patterned papers.

Summer Picnic

Watermelon

Let's Eat

Creamsicle

Soda Pop

Sun Kissed

Aren't these fun papers for all those summer photos? The possibilities for this collection are endless so let's get started sharing some of the amazing projects that our DT have created.

"Sun Kissed"

I love this collection every paper is beautiful, it's bright and yet subtle. I created this layout of my son and nieces on one of the vacations we take in the summer. The vibrant color of the sun kissed patterned paper is one of my favorites and with the blue backdrop that draws your eyes right onto page.

Supplies Used: Endless Summer Collection

"BBQ"

I created another layout with this Endless Summer collection. Summer will not be the same without the backyard BBQ,  a classic summer celebration! As you can see how much the kids love BBQ skewers, one of the most enjoyed food in our family gatherings, it's not just a bbq, it's a tradition. :)

Supplies Used: Endless Summer Collection.

"Summer Lovin' "

We are a swimming family so this amazing collection is going to get a lot of use. A lot! I have more Popsicle, slip n slide, pool, BBQ pictures than I know what to do with. Until this collection arrived at my doorstep! I cut apart the sun rays and backed some of them with cardstock which I used my pinking shears on. Other rays are pop dotted off the page for some depth. The sun is layered with the stamp that is colored with Copic markers and a coordinating button in the center.

Supplies
Imaginisce: Patterned Paper, stamp, iTop, small button, stickers, die cut, pop dots
Other: Twine: The Twinery; ribbon: Cosmo Cricket; Distress Stickles; Die (letters): Die-Versions; Cardstock: Bazzill, Copic markers: Y17, YR04, YR15, YR15

"Homegrown"

As soon as I saw the watermelon paper I thought of these pictures of my son and his homegrown watermelon. I used the silver tears GlamRocks and colored a few of them black for watermelon seeds. And that cut file titled "scattered raindrops" makes the perfect watermelon backdrop, don't you think?!

Supplies
Imaginisce: Patterned Paper, stamp, chipboard, stickers, GlamRock (silver tears)
Other: Cut files: homemade, Loni Leah Designs; Cardstock: Bazzill, Pen: American Crafts

This collection just screams everything that is wonderful about summer; BBQ's, swimming, yummy food and just spending time outdoors.  I had so much fun creating this layout and card.  The patterned papers are perfect colors for summer and I love all the fun little details on them.  I have many more fun summer pictures that I am sure I will be using with this fun collection.

"Horray for Summer"

"You are my Sunshine"

Imaginisce Supplies: Endless Summer Patterned Paper, Snag 'Em Stamps and Die Cuts

When we were little we went for a couple of weeks every summer to my grandparents home in the mountains. It was the best of times! Grandpa had built us a swing in the tree in front of their porch, he took us to the park where we raced little boats on the lake and my grandma baked the most delicious cakes, cookies and even home made chocolate. I miss them both terribly but I treasure the memories! They were both so talented, my grandma was a fabulous seamstress and baker and my grandpa was a woodworker and metal worker. He built me the most beautiful set of doll furniture and inspired me to love crafting for ever! Those were the times....

Eep! I LOVE these papers!! Wow there are so many favorite summer memories. We were a military family and used to move during the summers when my dad got transferred. He and my mom used these times as opportunities to sight see while we were traveling to our new destination. I think my favorite was the summer we moved from Mississippi to Washington State and saw amazing things like Carlsbad Caverns, Mount Rushmore and Sonoma, and camped all the way!

Awesome layouts, ladies! That huge watermelon picture made me smile. It must been very heavy! :)

My most recent favourite summer memories are going to the cottage with our family friends. They have kids the same age as ours and we always have a very good time with them. The kids entertain themselves and the adults play games all weekend and everyone swims and has a great time. Another great recent memory is going to Great Wolf Lodge in the summer. The kids loved the outdoor pool and the water toys. It was a really fun time.

Great layouts! I especially love the watermelon one! One of my favorite summer memories was my last trip home before my parents moved away. We took our eldest to the beach I used to go to, walked down the pier, in the sand, had ice cream. It was late summer and a colder day, so it wasn't too busy, just a sweet day.

I'll never forget my favorite summer memory. I was 13 when I went on my very first vacation. I spent a week in Michigan's Upper Peninsula with my aunt, uncle & cousin. We slept in sleeping bags on beaches along Lake Michigan. Every morning we'd watch the sunrise, throw on our swim suits, grab the soap & shampoo & we'd bathe in Lake Michigan. During the day we would enjoy various excursions. No matter where we were or what we were doing my aunt & uncle always made sure we were back long before dawn, so my cousin & I could do our two favorite things; catch fresh fish for dinner & watch the Mackinaw Bridge light up at sunset. Every night my uncle made a fire & we'd burn s'mores & tell ghost stories. Back than I remember thinking wow this is the coolest thing ever. It's been over 30 years since I was on that vacation & I still think it was the coolest thing ever.
